Fantasy Impact:

Jones-Drew has a nice matchup this week against an Eagles defense that was lit up by Jahvid Best last week. Although MLB Stewart Bradley is scheduled to return this week, Jones has a chance to put up some good numbers.

Lions Coach Jim Schwartz said Monday that WR Calvin Johnson remains an integral part of the offense, and in fairness, the Lions have leaned on him when they needed big plays late in games.
But while Jahvid Best, Brandon Pettigrew and Tony Scheffler have thrived at times, defenses have shut down the team's deadliest offensive weapon -- and the Lions haven't been able to win.

Running backs Jahvid Best and Kevin Smith took some reps as a Wildcat quarterback during training camp, but neither has thrown a pass in an NFL game. Smith was inactive for the Bears game.

MORE BEST: Best was on the injury report for a second straight day with a previously undisclosed toe injury. Schwartz said the injury happened against the Bears and didn't contribute to Best's underwhelming 14-carry, 20-yard debut.

"I don't know that it made a whole lot of difference," Schwartz said. "There was nothing that we did during the game or anything like that, but it's something that's listed on the injury report."
Schwartz, who's discreet about injuries, was asked why Best appeared on the injury report despite practicing without limitation.
