Fantasy Upside
James Washington was selected in the second round of the draft to essentially be Martavis Bryant's replacement. Considering Bryant caught 50 passes in this offense last season, that puts the rookie in a pretty good spot.
Fantasy Downside
Washington isn't guaranteed to win the job, though the Steelers have had a lot of success drafting receivers.
2018 Bottom Line
Even if he does settle into the No. 3 role, the expectation is that Vance McDonald will make up a lot of the gap gone from Bryant's departure. And, at best, Washington is probably then the fourth or fifth option in this offense. That could mean a good game here or there, but the consistency is going to be lacking. His current ADP has him going in rounds 17 through 21, so you're not going to have to overdraft him. But his upside is very limited.
