Steelers RB James Conner, listed as questionable with an ankle injury, is unlikely to play vs. the #Patriots, source said. He should be good to go Week 16, though.

The Steelers downgraded Conner to doubtful Saturday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact: 

Samuels should step back into a high volume role that should again make him an upside RB2 in Week 15.

Steelers RB James Conner (ankle, questionable) returned to take limited reps Friday after missing practice earlier in the week and is questionable for Week 15. The return to practice makes it possible that Conner returns this week. The Steelers play late on Sunday, which complicates matters, so hopefully we have more clarity by Saturday night. In his absence last week, Jaylen Samuels turned 18 touches (7 catches) into 92 total yards. He should see a similar workload against the Patriots if Conner can’t play.

Steelers RB James Conner (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. Conner will probably sit another week, though OC Randy Fichtner said that he could play without practice. We’re not holding our breath. In his absence last week, Jaylen Samuels turned 18 touches (7 catches) into 92 total yards. He should see a similar workload against the Patriots.
