Scouting report

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 20, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 20: Kearse vs Packers

Jermaine Kearse only had three catches, but they were big ones. He finished the day with 129 yards and a touchdown. It was Kearse's turn to have a big game which you get from a Seahawks' receiver every once in awhile.

The matchup is good this week as the Packers are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers. Kearse might have a big game or it might be Doug Baldwin or even Kevin Norwood who is now the No. 3. It's pretty much a crap shoot, but we will say that Kearse will not be the big stat receiver for Seattle this week.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 19, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19: Kearse vs Panthers

Jermaine Kearse could have a big game any week, but most of the time he catches a couple balls quietly and has very little fantasy impact. He finished with 38 receptions on the year which is less than three catches per game.

It won't be easy in the Divisional Playoffs as the Seahawks face Carolina who is 2nd in aFPA to wide receivers. Expect what you got from Kearse most of the season which should keep him on the bench for Week 19.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17: Kearse vs Rams
Jermaine Kearse only had one catch (and target) last week after five the previous week. Expect an amount somewhere in between which leaves him with very little fantasy value. Keep Kearse on the bench.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16: Kearse vs Cardinals
Jermaine Kearse caught a team-high five catches for 78 yards showing us that on any given week, any Seattle receiver can step it up for a good fantasy week. Problem is which one will it be. Kearse wasn't anywhere on our radar based on recent play, but it was his turn against San Fran. This week, we really don't expect any of the Seattle receivers to have a big game so keep them all on the bench including Kearse.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14: Kearse vs Eagles
Jermaine Kearse caught three passes for 34 yards last week which was the highest for any wide receiver on Seattle so what does that tell you? The Seahawks receivers continue to be the worst fantasy unit in the league. Even playing the Eagles this week who are 24th in aFPA to wide receivers probably won't help. Keep Kearse on the bench for Week 14.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13: Kearse vs 49ers
Jermaine Kearse had only two targets last week against Arizona after having a season-high eight the week before. You just don't know what you are going to get with the Seattle receivers in general. However, we have a good idea this week as Kearse and his teammates are facing San Francisco who is 4th in aFPA to wide receivers. Keep Kearse on the bench for Week 13.

SEA WR Jermaine Kearse - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Kearse vs Cardinals

Jermaine Kearse was targeted a season-high eight times last week against KC, but it still didn't produce great fantasy results. He caught five passes for 54 yards and did not get in the end zone for the sixth straight week.

It's a neutral matchup this week against Arizona who is 16th in aFPA to wide receivers. We don't expect much to change in the form of distribution or results for Kearse so keep him on the bench for Week 12. His fantasy impact is minimal.
