Fantasy Impact: 

Reed said he was going to play through the shoulder injury in this must-win game for Washington. He struggled when we last saw him back in week 15 so he's a risky fantasy play. Vernon Davis should also be in the mix, but the Skins have - overall - seen a decrease in production from the TE position in recent weeks.

Redskins TE Jordan Reed (shoulder, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 17. It looks like Reed will return this week in a must-win game. It’s impossible to trust him given his recent snaps, but he is Jordan Reed and he has upside.

The Redskins enter Week 17 with an opportunity to earn a playoff spot. To do so, they'll need to beat the Giants.

So, it's a good thing then that they'll have Jordan Reed on the field. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday that Reed will play through his shoulder injury Sunday. La Canfora tweeted: "With the Skins fighting for their playoffs lives, TE Jordan Reed will play this weekend, fighting himself thru a painful shoulder injury."

Fantasy Impact: 

The story said it's a good thing, but that wasn't the case two weeks ago when Reed tried to play through the injury and clearly wasn't himself, recording just one catch before getting ejected from the game. He's tough to trust but did sit out Week 16 so the hope is the time off did some good.

Redskins TE Jordan Reed (shoulder, questionable) missed practice all week and is questionable for Week 16. Despite the questionable tag, Reed seems to be trending towards doubtful. He’s clearly hampered by the shoulder injury and may be best served to sitting Week 16 out. If he does sit, Vernon Davis should see an uptick in snaps and targets. Washington plays early on Saturday.
