Scouting report

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Tennessee Titans

Jordan Wilkins was held without a touch last week against the Texans, despite Marlon Mack being sidelined with a hand injury. Meanwhile, Jonathan Williams got a full workload. While it’s possible the Colts were just being careful with Wilkins coming off an ankle injury, the effectiveness of Williams is concerning enough to make using Wilkins way too risky. He should probably stay on waivers until further notice.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Houston Texans

Jordan Wilkins has averaged 6.1 yards per carry in limited touches this year behind Marlon Mack, but he’s dealing with an ankle injury right now that kept him out of last week’s contest when Mack when down with a hand injury. His status for Thursday night is up in the air, but even if he’s active, he’s more likely to hurt the value of Jonathan Williams than he is to thrive himself. He should be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues or perhaps added to the back of a bench in case he takes the job. For now though, he’s too risky to count on after Williams looked like a quality back in relief of Mack on Sunday.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jordan Wilkins is little more than a handcuff to Marlon Mack, as he had only three carries for 20 yards against the Dolphins last week and is averaging a mere 3.9 touches per game this year. Now he’s nicked up with an ankle injury. Unless he’s strictly a handcuff, he should remain on waivers in all league formats.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

Jordan Wilkins had one rush and one reception for a total of 12 yards last week against the Steelers. He’s a handcuff to Marlon Mack and has very little value outside of that capacity. He has a little upside this week against the Dolphins if the Colts get up early and decide to rest Mack, but that’s a pretty hard thing to expect and fantasy owners should leave him on waivers in most leagues.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Jordan Wilkins only had a pair of carries last week and he continues to be a handcuff-only option in fantasy leagues. With Marlon Mack hovering around 20 touches in most games, it’s hard to envision Wilkins getting the workload required to give him any fantasy value. If something happens to Mack, he should be a primary addition, but until then, he’s better off on waivers or on the back end of a roster as a handcuff.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Denver Broncos

Jordan Wilkins had only two carries for nine yards last week. He’s averaging just 4.8 total touches over five games this season, making him a clear handcuff-only option behind starter Marlon Mack. He has no fantasy value outside of that capacity.

IND RB Jordan Wilkins - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Houston Texans

Jordan Wilkins went into his last game with Marlon Mack supposedly hobbled and still saw only seven carries and 15% of the team’s offensive snaps. Mack should be active again this week, leaving Wilkins fighting with Nyheim Hines for change-of-pace work, giving him very little fantasy value. Owners should leave him on waivers unless he’s strictly a handcuff to Mack.
