Scouting report

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 7 vs. Panthers
Ho-hum. Jordy Nelson had another nine receptions for 107 yards and a score last week. He has now scored in three consecutive weeks and has five TDs in six games. While the matchup is good this week against Carolina, matchups don't matter with Nelson. He's a must-start every week.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 6 vs. Dolphins
The bad news? Jordy Nelson had just one catch last week in a rout of Minnesota. The good news? It was a 66-yard touchdown. The Packers got their stars out of the game early last week, but should be a little more challenged on the road this week against Miami. Nelson is on pace for nearly 110 catches, 1,700 yards and 13 scores. As long as Aaron Rodgers stays healthy, there is never any reason to bench Nelson.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 5 vs. Vikings
Ten catches on 10 targets for Nelson last week, good for 108 yards and a touchdown. He's about as much easy money in fantasy football as there is right now. The Vikings' pass defense has been middle of the pack this season, but Nelson and teammate Randall Cobb should put a dent in that ranking.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 4 vs. Bears
After catching nine passes in each of the first two games, Jordy Nelson was limited to five receptions for 59 yards last week. He did just miss on a TD catch that would have bumped that up to a more respectable day. We like Nelson and company to bounce back with a solid day against the Bears. He's a must-start in all formats.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 3 vs. Lions
What do you do for an encore after catching nine passes for 209 yards and a score as Jordy Nelson did last week? He's had nine catches in each of the first two games and was targeted 16 times last week. Nelson is a must-start in all formats.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson Week 2 vs. Jets
If the passing game of the Oakland Raiders could torch the Jets last week, then what will the Packers do to New York's secondary this week at Lambeau Field? Bad things. Jordy Nelson had nine receptions for 83 yards last week in a tough matchup at Seattle. If he catches nine this week, it will likely go for about 150 yards. Feel free to start Nelson in all formats.

GB WR Jordy Nelson - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordy Nelson, Week 1 vs Seahawks
Jordy Nelson is too good to bench, but you likely took him as your No. 1 receiver - or 1B. He faces a tough matchup this week in Seattle, but Nelson and Aaron Rodgers are too good to sit. Just keep your expectations in check against a Seattle secondary that was No. 2 against opposing wide receivers last season in points allowed.
