ATL WR Julio Jones - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Julio Jones caught seven-of-11 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 10 loss to the Browns. Now an unstoppable scoring machine, Jones has found pay dirt in each of his past two games. He has also cleared 100 yards receiving in four consecutive games and despite Dallas ranking No. 3 against fantasy receivers this season, Jones remains a must-start despite the matchup. Normally ranked in our top-three, Jones is our WR7 for Week 11 but again, he remains a WR1.

ATL WR Julio Jones - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Cleveland Browns

Julio Jones caught seven-of-10 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 9 win over the Redskins. That’s correct: Julio Jones scored a touchdown. It was spectacular too, as he put a move on corner Josh Norman, caught a receiver screen, raced to the end zone and broke out of safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix’s tackle to score. He was then mobbed by his teammates, as it was his first touchdown in 90 consecutive catches. Amazing. Ranked as our WR3, Jones is a must-start Sunday when the Falcons travel to Cleveland to play the Browns.

ATL WR Julio Jones - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Washington Redskins

Julio Jones caught nine-of-12 targets for 104 yards in the Falcons’ Week 7 win over the Giants. No, he didn’t score a touchdown. It’s not like Jones hasn’t had opportunities to score, as Matt Ryan once again underthrew a potential touchdown pass that could have been a walk-in 60-yarder. Nevertheless, Jones is still racking up yardage and catches, and remains Ryan’s go-to receiver week in and week out. Ranked as our WR6 for Week 9, Jones remains a WR1 for Sunday’s matchup with the Redskins.

ATL WR Julio Jones Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New York Giants

Julio Jones caught 10-of-14 passes for 143 yards in the Falcons’ Week 6 win over the Bucs. Naturally, even with Calvin Ridley (ankle) and Mohamed Sanu (hip) missing time during the game due to injuries, Jones still couldn’t find the end zone. Nevertheless, he’s on pace for 1,885 yards through six games. He’s a monster, he just doesn’t score touchdowns. Ranked as our WR3 for Week 7, Jones and the Falcons will face the Giants on Monday night.

ATL WR Julio Jones Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Julio Jones was targeted nine times in the Falcons’ Week 5 loss to the Steelers, catching five passes for 62 yards. He was actually held off the stat sheet until the fourth quarter because quarterback Matt Ryan was constantly under siege by Pittsburgh’s pass rush. Ryan chose to check down to tight end Austin Hooper for much of the second half because Jones got involved in the fourth quarter. Predictably, Jones was held without a touchdown again but he has a great matchup versus Tampa Bay on Sunday so he should rebound. (The Bucs own fantasy’s No. 32 defense against opposing wide receivers.) Ranked as our WR1, make sure Jones is in your lineup for Sunday. Maybe he’ll score three touchdowns to help make up for the lack of scoring over the past year-and-a-half.

ATL WR Julio Jones - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Julio Jones caught nine-of-12 targets for 173 yards in the Falcons’ Week 4 loss to the Bengals. He nearly scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter but he would have needed to drag about three Cincinnati defenders with him into the end zone. That’s seemingly what it’ll take for Jones to score a touchdown, although fantasy owners can’t complain about the targets or yardage. Ranked as our WR3 for Week 5, make sure Jones is in your lineup for a potential shootout between the Falcons and Steelers in Pittsburgh.

ATL WR Julio Jones - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Julio Jones caught five passes for 96 yards on six targets in the Falcons’ Week 3 loss to the Saints. He should have had a touchdown, but Matt Ryan underthrew Jones on a 58-yard pass in the fourth quarter. Rookie Calvin Ridley led Falcons receivers in targets with eight but that usually won’t be the case. Now that Atlanta has to out-pace its own banged-up defense every week, the Falcons will be in plenty more shootouts. Jones is our No. 4 ranked WR for Week 4 and is a must-start against the visiting Bengals on Sunday.
