Scouting report

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Julius Thomas vs. Cincinnati Bengals
After missing the previous three contests with a sore ankle, Julius Thomas was back on the field for Denver last week versus the Chargers. On two targets, he caught only one pass for 30 yards. Look for him to be a bigger part of the offense on Monday night, but he's hard to trust in a big fantasy game. Still, if you own Thomas, you're probably starting him unless you have another top option.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Julius Thomas vs. San Diego Chargers
Despite being active last Sunday against the Bills, Julius Thomas did not play and has missed three games in a row with a sore ankle. The extra week off should give him enough time to be ready for a big game in San Diego. Even though Julius was held to just two receptions for 23 yards in the victory over the Bolts in Week 8, be sure to insert him back into your starting lineup if he’s a go.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Julius Thomas vs. Buffalo Bills
After missing the past two games with an ankle injury, Julius Thomas should be on the field on Sunday at home versus the Bills. Thomas has 12 TDs on the season and is always a threat to score in the red zone. Buffalo’s defense has been solid this year, but Denver is just too good at home to leave any of Peyton Manning’s weapons on your bench. If he's playing, start him.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Julius Thomas vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Julius Thomas sat out the Broncos win over Miami last week with a sore ankle. Julius tried to be ready, but was deemed inactive a couple hours before kickoff. He should be back on Sunday night in an important divisional matchup in Kansas City though. Thomas posted 39 yards and a TD in the first meeting against the Chiefs this season. As long as he’s healthy, be sure to reinsert the Denver TE into your starting lineup.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Julius Thomas vs. Miami Dolphins
Julius Thomas left last week’s loss to the Rams early with an ankle injury. He caught only two very short passes before departing. The injury shouldn't keep him out of action at home this week, but he has been limited in practice. If he's healthy enough to play, Thomas is a must start with the monstrous season he’s having.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Julius Thomas vs. St. Louis Rams
With a lot of his family in the crowd last week in Oakland, Julius Thomas didn’t disappoint, collecting six receptions for 63 yards and two TDs. Julius leads the NFL with 12 touchdown receptions and continues to be a defensive coordinator’s nightmare. On the season, the big TE has 38 receptions, with almost a third of them resulting in scores. Don’t expect the Rams to slow down Peyton Manning and the Broncos, so be sure to keep on starting Thomas.

DEN TE Julius Thomas - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 – Julius Thomas vs. Oakland Raiders
It took a while for Julius Thomas to see his first look from Peyton Manning last week in New England, but that first target resulted in an 18-yard third quarter touchdown – his 10th of the season. Julius finished with only one other reception in the loss, despite Manning throwing for over 400 yards. The big TE has just four catches the past two contests, as Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have been getting most of the looks recently. However, Thomas is just too much of a threat for you to even consider leaving him on your bench.
