With the Bucs looking to involve more backs in the running game, the notion of FB Earnest Graham getting a few more carries can't be dismissed.

The attention has been focused mostly on Kareem Huggins and rookie LeGarrette Blount, but Graham is a potential option with converted defensive end Erik Lorig now working at fullback. The Bucs also have a backup fullback in Chris Pressley.

Still, Graham said he hasn't been told anything about a change in his role.

"I don't have a sense about anything," Graham said. "I know things change. Blount looked good (Sept. 26 against Pittsburgh). You've got to find a way to get him some carries."

Cadillac Williams is 28, has had two major knee surgeries in three years and could use a rest.

So the Bucs' running back will begin to split carries with Kareem Huggins and rookie LeGarrette Blount beginning this week at Cincinnati, according to offensive coordinator Greg Olson.

Williams has 55 carries for 139 yards this season, a 2.5-yard average that is among the worst in the NFL among starting running backs.

Huggins, a second-year pro from Hofstra who led the Bucs in rushing during the preseason, has missed the last two games with a groin strain. Blount, the former Oregon star who was claimed off waivers from Tennessee last month, made his debut two weeks ago against Pittsburgh and carried six times for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Olson said it's important for Huggins and Blount to share the rushing workload with Williams moving forward.

Fantasy Impact: 

This gives us some more info at least: Huggins a passing situation back and Blount in short yardage and goal line situations. In the fantasy world, though, 3 is never better than 1 when it comes to running backs...

RB Cadillac Williams will split carries with Kareem Huggins and LeGarrette Blount.

Fantasy Impact: 

We heard rumors of this for a couple of weeks now, but this news makes it seem like a three-headed monster going forward. Either way, Caddy lost some value as a borderline flex play so far this year. We'll have to see how the workload is split but, Blount could see goal line work which gives him a slight edge in value. Right now this situation needs some time to figure out from the fantasy side before any of these players are in your lineup.

RB LeGarrette Blount says he needs to learn the Bucs' protection schemes more thoroughly before he expects his role to increase.

Fantasy Impact: 

This is pretty typical for a young back and often takes time to learn. Kareem Huggins has yet to make an impact and right now it looks like Blount may have passed him.
