Scouting report

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Green Bay
After having a monster game against Cleveland four games ago, Wright has gotten 14 targets in the past three games, including five last week. He turned that into two catches for 64 yards, but with just a handful of targets each week, Wright just isn't a reliable fantasy play week to week. This is a decent matchup, but Wright is nothing better than a flex play.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Diego
Wright got just five targets last week, but that was a team-best in what turned into an early blowout. He was part of that, catching four passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. Wright has led the Titans in targets in two of the past three weeks and also scored in two of those three games. San Diego's pass defense against receivers has been solid this season, with just seven TDs allowed to receivers. This looks like a run-heavy game for the Titans. Use Wright as a No. 3 receiver, particularly in PPR leagues.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 8, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Jacksonville
Wright came crashing back to Earth last week after a monster game in Week 6. He saw just four targets last week for two receptions and 12 yards coming off his 8-133-1 line in Week 6. Considering the rest of his games this season are more in line with what he did last week, there's little reason to think Wright is going to reproduce his Week 6 effort.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Indianapolis
After entering the game with three receptions, Wright exploded last week against Cleveland for eight catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. Who saw that coming? He has scored in each of his past two games against Indianapolis, so we'll see if he can make it three in a row. He could be worth a flex play this week in PPR leagues only. Other than that, let's see him do it again.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Wright didn't always click with rookie Marcus Mariota last season and had career lows with 36 catches for 408 yards and three scores in 10 games. He averaged just over six targets per game and his 11.3 yards per catch average was right on his career mark. Don't forget that the slot receiver was a 1,000-yard performer in 2013 when he got a career-best 140 targets. Those days might be gone, however, with the addition of some younger, more talented receivers. Wright's ADP places him as the 69th receiver taken. That's ahead of teammate Rishard Matthews. Don't believe that. Wright will, however, benefit from the trade of Dorial Green-Beckham.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Jacksonville
Wright managed to catch just two of the seven targets he got last week for 13 yards. He did have four catches for 73 yards in his last meeting with the Jaguars last season and the Jaguars have allowed multiple TD passes to opposing wide receivers in four of their past six games. One of the games in which they didn't, however, was against Tennessee two weeks ago. Show some caution here and don't use Wright as anything more than a flex.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Oakland
Wright is finally ready to go again after missing three straight games with a knee injury. He immediately moves back into the No. 1 role for the Titans. Wright had 28 catches for 343 yards and three scores before the injury. Oakland is 25th in points allowed to opposing wide receivers because they play so much man-to-man on the outside. Wright should do well enough to be a solid flex play.
