TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Kendall Wright Week 3 vs. Bengals
Kendall Wright is coming off a rare down game after catching just three passes for 31 yards last week. He should bounce back with a strong showing, particularly in PPR leagues. The Bengals have been susceptible to allowing some yardage, though a lot of that has come late in games. But it doesn't matter to you when it comes, only that it does. Wright's a solid No. 3 starter this week.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Kendall Wright Week 2 vs Dallas
Kendall Wright is a machine in PPR leagues and got off to a nice start last week, grabbing six passes and a touchdown. He did only have 46 yards receiving, so he's not exactly going to help put you over the top in yardage leagues. Then again, Anquan Boldin dinked and dunked the Cowboys last week to the tune of 99 yards on eight receptions. Wright should be a nice, safe play this week as a solid No. 3 receiver.

TEN WR Kendall Wright - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Kendall Wright Week 1 vs Chiefs
Kendall Wright averaged nearly nine targets per game in 2013 and is easily the No. 1 receiving option in Tennessee. He's never been a big touchdown maker, but in PPR leagues, he's as good as they get. Wright should be solid this week. In his only meeting with Kansas City last year, he had six receptions for 74 yards. We're looking for similar production this week.

TEN WR Wright Kendall - 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Kendall Wright is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in Tennessee’s offense. Because of that, he had just three games with fewer than four receptions in 2013. He should continue to grow in that role.

Fantasy Downside
If quarterback Jake Locker is injured – which has happened every season – do you really trust Charlie Whitehurst to move this offense? That’s a major issue for Wright, who is as talented as anyone in the league working out of the slot.

Bottom Line
Wright’s a great underrated player in PPR leagues. He’s only got six touchdowns in two seasons, including two on 94 receptions in 2013, but that used to be the knock on Antonio Brown as well, and he scored eight times in 2013. With more consistent quarterback play, Wright could get into the end zone more frequently. He’s a solid No. 2 receiver in PPR leagues and a high-end No. 3 in regular leagues. His ADP currently has him going in the 7th or 8th round. Grab him there and be happy.
