Fantasy Upside
Kendall Wright is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in Tennessee’s offense. Because of that, he had just three games with fewer than four receptions in 2013. He should continue to grow in that role.
Fantasy Downside
If quarterback Jake Locker is injured – which has happened every season – do you really trust Charlie Whitehurst to move this offense? That’s a major issue for Wright, who is as talented as anyone in the league working out of the slot.
Bottom Line
Wright’s a great underrated player in PPR leagues. He’s only got six touchdowns in two seasons, including two on 94 receptions in 2013, but that used to be the knock on Antonio Brown as well, and he scored eight times in 2013. With more consistent quarterback play, Wright could get into the end zone more frequently. He’s a solid No. 2 receiver in PPR leagues and a high-end No. 3 in regular leagues. His ADP currently has him going in the 7th or 8th round. Grab him there and be happy.
