Week 10 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Kendrick Bourne only has two catches on two targets for a total of 19 yards since the 49ers traded for Emmanuel Sanders two weeks ago. His snap count has plummeted as well, as he was on the field for only 27% of the team’s offensive snaps last week against the Cardinals – fourth on the team among wide receivers. Barring multiple injuries, there’s no reason to expect Bourne to produce in his current role, and he should be left on waivers in all formats.

Week 8 vs. Carolina Panthers

Kendrick Bourne caught three balls for 69 yards last week against Washington, which was impressive given the terrible conditions. He was also on the field for 89% of the offensive snaps, a number that will likely go down if Marquise Goodwin’s head injury isn’t serious and with the addition of Emmanuel Sanders via trade this week. It’s a bad matchup anyway against the Panthers. Tough defense and questionable playing time make for a bad combination for Bourne, who should remain on waivers.

Week 6 at Los Angeles Rams

Kendrick Bourne caught both balls thrown his way on Monday night in a blowout win over the Browns, gaining 24 yards. He was on the field for just 22% of the snaps, however, which is actually lower than his 27% total for the season. Much of that was related to the team running the ball so effectively in a lop-sided victory, but it’s unlikely to see Bourne rise higher than fourth on the depth chart barring multiple injuries in the receiving corps. Leave him on waivers.
