Scouting report

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15: Britt vs. Cardinals
Kenny Britt caught two-of-five targets for 52 yards in the Rams' Week 14 win over the Redskins. He may have scored on a long pass in the first half, but Shaun Hill underthrew him a bit and Britt had to settle for a 41-yard gain instead. Given the Rams' inconsistent passing game, Britt is merely a WR4/5 in all formats. Avoid him on Thursday night versus the Cardinals.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14: Britt vs. Redskins
Kenny Britt caught his lone target for 13 yards in the Rams’ 52-0 win over the Raiders in Week 13. Britt runs a lot of the vertical routes in Brian Schottenheimer’s offense and with Shaun Hill under center, the team’s game plans continue to center on short, quick passes. Thus, Britt has limited fantasy appeal and should be avoided in Week 14.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13: Britt vs. Raiders
Kenny Britt caught two-of-six targets for 37 yards in the Rams' Week 12 loss to the Chargers. One of his two grabs came in the closing minutes when he made a terrific diving catch while sliding out of bounds inside the 10-yard line. He was also the intended target when Shaun Hill was intercepted on the Rams' final offensive play. Britt continues to be targeted anywhere from four-to-seven times per game but he's limited by Hill and the team's passing game in general. He's worth a stash in deeper leagues but we don't recommend him as a FLEX option. He ranks as our No. 44 overall WR for Week 13.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Britt vs. Chargers
Kenny Britt went off for 128 yards and a touchdown on four catches in the Rams’ Week 11 win over the Broncos. It was the first time this season that Britt racked up more than 69 yards in a game and it was his second touchdown in three weeks. With Shaun Hill back under center for the Rams, Britt should get more targets in the vertical passing game but don’t expect consistent 100-yard games out of the veteran. He’s merely a WR4 at this point but is worth a flier in deeper leagues. He ranks as our No. 43 overall WR for Week 12.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Britt vs. Broncos
Kenny Britt caught three-of-five targets for 31 yards in the Rams’ Week 10 loss to the Cardinals. His season-high for catches is five, which came all the way back in Week 3. He’s also failed to rack up more than 69 yards receiving in a given game and has just two touchdowns this season. There might be more of an emphasis to get Britt involved now that Shaun Hill has replaced the inexperienced Austin Davis at quarterback but chances are St. Louis’ passing game will remain grounded. Britt is our No. 42 WR in Week 11 and should remain on your bench/waiver wire.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Britt vs. Cardinals
Kenny Britt caught 2-of-4 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ Week 9 win over the 49ers. His lone touchdown came after San Francisco linebacker Chris Borland blew a coverage assignment and Britt was allowed to reach the end zone untouched after catching a shallow crossing route over the middle. With Brian Quick out for the season due to injury, Britt is now the No. 1 WR in St. Louis. The problem is that Austin Davis limits what the Rams can do in the passing game and thus, none of the team’s wideouts make for good fantasy options. Britt ranks as our No. 35 overall WR for Week 10 and should be viewed as a WR4 only.

STL WR Kenny Britt - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Britt vs. 49ers
Kenny Britt caught two-of-five targets for 52 yards in the Rams’ Week 8 loss to the Chiefs. Austin Davis spread the wealth last Sunday, completing passes to 10 different receivers. Britt led the team in targets and becomes the defacto No. 1 receiver in St. Louis now that Brian Quick (shoulder/arm) has been lost for the season, but no receiver is being featured in the team’s offense. If you have room on your roster and you want to take a flier on Britt, he’s not a terrible add based on how good he looked in training camp and preseason and his status as the defacto #1 WR. But keep your expectations low.
