Scouting report

LA TE Lance Kendricks - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New Orleans
Lance Kendricks caught 4-of-7 targets for 38 yards in the Rams' Week 11 loss to the Dolphins. His performance wasn't eye-popping, but Kendricks did rebound after catching only one pass for two yards in the Rams' Week 10 victory over the Jets. Even with that dud, Kendricks has caught 12-of-21 targets for 128 yards over his last three games. He'll be a streaming option on Sunday when the Rams visit the Saints, whose defense ranks No. 9 versus fantasy tight ends this season. Kendricks is our TE14 for Week 12.

LA TE Lance Kendricks Week 11, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Miami
Lance Kendricks caught one-of-two targets for zero yards in the Rams' Week 10 win over the Jets. Despite the great matchup, Kendricks put together a dud fantasy performance as Case Keenum threw for only 165 yards in the victory. There's a chance No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff will put Kendricks back on the fantasy map but we'll just have to wait and see. For now, Kendricks is our TE18 for Week 11. There should be better streaming options available if you need a tight end this weekend.

LA TE Lance Kendricks Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Jets
Lance Kendricks caught seven-of-12 targets for 90 yards in the Rams’ Week 9 loss to the Panthers. It was the second time in as many games that Kendricks caught seven passes and he’s now on pace for a respectable 64 receptions for 662 yards and two touchdowns. He’s still not a reliable weekly starter but ranked as our TE15 for Week 10, Kendricks has appeal as a sneaky start this Sunday versus the Jets. As long as Case Keenum keeps dinking and dunking his way through games, Kendricks holds some fantasy value.

LA TE Lance Kendricks - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Carolina
Lance Kendricks caught seven-of-nine targets for 55 yards in the Rams' Week 7 loss to the Giants in London. He now has 17 targets in his last two weeks, but has totaled just 89 yards. The Rams host the Panthers on Sunday and Carolina owns the worst defense against fantasy tight ends this season, making Kendricks a sneaky start for Week 9. He ranks as our TE11 for Sunday's game, so if you need a tight end, Kendricks has the matchup and has seen the volume over his last two games to make him an intriguing play.

LA TE Lance Kendricks - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New York Giants
Lance Kendricks caught 5-of-8 targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Rams Week 6 loss to the Lions. The touchdown was Kendricks' first of the year and the targets were a season-high. The Rams must have seen something they liked on film because Kendricks has mostly been a check-down option for Case Keenum. Ranked as our TE21, view Kendricks as a low-end TE2 for the Rams Week 7 matchup with the Giants in London.

LA TE Lance Kendricks - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Detroit
Lance Kendricks caught two-of-three targets for 24 yards in the Rams Week 5 loss to the Bills. Consider Kendricks saw a season-high seven targets a week ago, his output was a reminder that the tight end is often an afterthought in the Rams punch-less offense. Ranked as our TE24 for Week 6, leave Kendricks on your waiver wire.

LA TE Lance Kendricks - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Buffalo
Lance Kendricks caught five-of-seven targets for 52 yards in the Rams' Week 4 upset win over the Cardinals. The targets were a team high for Kendricks, who caught four passes in the first half alone. Like every Los Angeles receiver this year, Kendricks' production has been sporadic. He racked up 15 yards in Week 1, 61 in Week 2, was shutout in Week 3, and produced 52 yards in Week 5. Ranked as our TE22 for Week 5, there are better streaming options available if you need a tight end for this weekend.
