Scouting report

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Le'Veon Bell Week 8 vs. Colts
LeVeon Bell had just 12 carries for 57 yards against Houston, but more than made up for that by snagging a career-high eight receptions for 88 yards and a score. Only he and DeMarco Murray have topped 100 yards from scrimmage in every game this season, so even with a tough matchup against Indianapolis, he'll still have value, especially in PPR leagues. The Colts defense hasn't been nearly has good in any facet on the road and has allowed seven rushing touchdowns this season.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

LeVeon Bell Week 7 vs. Texans
LeVeon Bell matched his Week 5 effort last week with another 82 yards on the ground, adding 23 yards receiving as well. He's had 100 total yards in all six games this season and is one of the safest fantasy backs going - though he has just one TD. Houston has given up four rushing touchdowns in six games this season, so there is some hope for Bell. He remains a strong start in all formats. Touchdowns are coming.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Le'Veon Bell Week 6 vs. Browns
LeVeon Bell put up more than 100 total yards for the fifth consecutive game, totaling 82 on the ground and another 36 through the air on five catches. He hammered Cleveland for 109 rushing and a touchdown and another 88 receiving on six receptions in Week 1. There's no reason to believe he can't come up with another strong effort this week.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

LeVeon Bell Week 5 vs. Jaguars
Bell had another nice all-around effort last week, rushing for 63 yards and catching six passes for 46 yards. He's been over 100 total yards in every game this season. Jacksonville held San Diego to 42 yards on 19 carries last week, but that's because the Chargers don't have any healthy running backs. Bell is healthy and should be a very strong start.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

LeVeon Bell Week 4 vs. Bucs
Before the season started, I said LeVeon Bell would put up 1,600 total yards this season. I might have underestimated. Bell is coming off a career-high 147-yard rushing game last week that included an 81-yard run that he actually didn't score on. He did give way to LeGarrette Blount in the fourth quarter of the blowout, but the Steelers' offense flows through Bell. Bell has emerged as one of the best all-around running backs in the league and has a nice, juicy matchup with the Bucs.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Le'Veon Bell Week 3 vs. Panthers
Le'Veon Bell put together another solid game last week despite limited touches, gaining 107 total yards on 16 touches (11 carries, five receptions). While Carolina's defense gets plenty of publicity, it has been easy to run on thus far, allowing 4.9 yards per rush. Bell is averaging 5.3 yards per carry, while his 11 receptions for 136 yards is also solid. He's a must-start in all fantasy formats.

PIT RB LeVeon Bell - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

LeVeon Bell Week 2 vs. Ravens
All those people fretting about Le'Veon Bell sharing carries with LeGarrette Blount needn't have worried. Bell got a healthy 27 touches last week (21 carries, six receptions) and responded with a career-high 197 total yards and a touchdown. Blount, meanwhile, got four carries, though one did go for a score. Bell was very productive against the Ravens last season, gaining 166 yards and a touchdown on the ground and catching eight passes for another 69 yards. There's no benching Bell now. He's a No. 1 running back.
