Fantasy Upside
Malik Nabers was the second wide receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniel Jones might not be able to do much, but when he falls in love with a receiver he can lock in. We've seen rookie wide receivers come in and make a difference right away. Jones has had multiple receivers with 70+ targets over the past two healthy years. We have Nabers as our WR30 with 90+ receptions.
Fantasy Downside
The downside is being tied to Jones. He hasn't been able to get any of his wide receivers over 100 targets in a season. The offense doesn't look like it's ready to strike fear in their opponents' hearts. If the touchdown opportunities aren't there, it's going to be hard for Nabers to pay off his WR20 price tag.
2024 Bottom Line
Rookie wide receivers are always enticing. At his current price, though, Nabers is a difficult pick. There's already a 10 spot gap between our projections and his ADP and that could grow as the offseason continues. Let someone else take the risk.
