Week 3 at Carolina
Matt Asiata received most of the workload last week after Adrian Peterson was hurt, but coach Mike Zimmer named Jerick McKinnon as the starting back moving forward. He may not be starting, but Asiata will certainly have a role in the offense.
Some of you may remember Asiata from 2014 when he somehow willed his way to 882 yards and 10 touchdowns. Asiata has never been a great back, but he gets goal line touches and has remained on the roster, so he's still fantasy relevant.
Asiata will draw a tough matchup in Week 3, but there's a stronger chance of him scoring a touchdown than McKinnon. For that reason, we'll project Asiata as an RB3 or flex play.
