WR Michael Thomas is believed to be a few weeks away.

Fantasy Impact: 

Thomas can come off the PUP list now, as we reported earlier today, but that doesn't look likely with his ankle injury. We could be looking at more like Week 9 or Week 10, based on Rapoport saying "not this week or next week." When he comes back, Thomas should be a huge target in an offense that's missing their stud WR1.

Players that have been on the PUP list are now eligible to return to practice and begin playing as soon as this week.

Amongst the most notables that could return soon: Packers OT David Bakhtiari, Saints WR Michael Thomas and Panthers CB Stephon Gilmore.

Fantasy Impact: 

Thomas is eligible to return to practice in Week 7 for the first time since having major ankle surgery in June. He's just the type of big-play weapon QB Jameis Winston needs as the team comes off their bye week. There should be more updates on Thomas as the week goes on.

The Saints have now placed WR Michael Thomas on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Fantasy Impact: 

Of course, Thomas is on the reserve/PUP list for his ankle injury, and he and his fantasy owners are hopeful he's able to return in Week 7 against the Seahawks. Players who are put on the PUP list can't begin practicing until the first six weeks of the regular season have passed, but Thomas would miss just five games since the Saints have their bye in Week 6.

Saints’ WR Michael Thomas, who underwent off-season foot surgery, is expected to land on PUP.

Fantasy Impact: 

Heading to the PUP list means Thomas will at least miss the first six weeks, per sources. As Schefter also pointed out, the Saints have an early bye, placing Thomas on PUP would sideline him for at least the first five games. Other reports seem to indicate Thomas will be ready to go after that. He may be worth a stash on your roster, especially if you can hide him away on an IR spot.
