TB WR Mike Evans - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs New Orleans Saints

Mike Evans had himself another huge game last week, finishing 7-86-2 on nine targets. Evans has been a touchdown machine this season, scoring in all but four of his 15 games. Evans has been a draft day steal as he's WR3 in half-PPR scoring on the year. We see no reason why he'll slow down this week in a matchup vs. the Saints (14th aFPA). Evans has had a bit of a complicated history vs. New Orleans, but that is mostly tied to CB Marshon Lattimore who is expected to miss the matchup. Evans should be viewed as a must-start WR1 in Week 17.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

After a disappointing one-catch game in Week 14, Mike Evans bounced back last week with a stat line of 4-57-1. Evans has scored 11 touchdowns this season, and he's nearly scoring one a week as he's played in 14 games. Evans draws a good matchup this week against the Jaguars (21st aFPA) who have given up the 7th-most average fantasy points to WRs over the past four weeks. Evans remains a strong bet to score a TD, and should be viewed as a solid WR1 option for Week 16.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Green Bay Packers

It was an ugly day for Mike Evans last week as he saw six targets, but only managed to catch one pass for eight yards. There's not much else to say about the performance, and there isn't much of a takeaway outside of it was a bad game. Evans should get back on track this week vs. the Packers (16th aFPA) where he remains one of the best bets to score a touchdown. Evans has scored at least once in all but four games this season. Despite the poor performance last week, Evans should still be viewed as a strong WR1 option for Week 15.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Atlanta Falcons

Mike Evans has become one of the best fantasy steals this season as he put up another huge game last week. Evans saw 12 targets and had a stat line of 7-162-1. Evans has now crossed the 1,000-yard receiving mark this season, giving him 10 straight seasons with 1K yards. Evans has been incredibly consistent with touchdowns in all but three games this year, including six of his last seven outings. This week he faces the Falcons (10th aFPA), a team he had success against earlier in the year with a line of 6-82-1. Evans should be viewed as a WR1 option for Week 14.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Carolina Panthers

Mike Evans led the team in targets last week with nine, finishing with a line of 6-70-2. Surprisingly this was Evans' first multi-touchdown game of the season. But he's certainly found the end zone plenty with nine touchdowns this season, scoring in eight of his 11 games played. Evans should continue to be a strong red zone threat this week as he faces the Panthers. Carolina is 2nd in aFPA to WRs this season, but that's mainly because teams simply don't need to throw against this defense often. It's not an ideal matchup for Evans, but he should still be viewed as a strong WR1 option in Week 13.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts

Mike Evans saw a team-high 12 targets last week, finishing 5-43-1. Evans almost feels like a lock to score each week as he's now scored in seven of his 10 games this season, including four of his last five. Evans gets an OK matchup against the Colts (15th aFPA) this week. We'd expect Evans to continue to produce like he usually does. He should be viewed as a solid WR1 play for Week 12.

TB WR Mike Evans - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at San Francisco 49ers

Mike Evans had a monster game last week, finishing 6-143-1 on 10 targets. He nearly hauled in another touchdown as he was wide open in the end zone, but simply dropped the pass. Evans has now scored in six of his nine games so far this year, with an average of 81.9 yards per game. He's been extremely consistent and is well on his way to yet another 1,000-yard year. This week he faces the 49ers (23rd aFPA) where he should be able to keep his high level of production. He should be viewed as a low-end WR1 option for Week 11.
