Steelers WR Mike Wallace coming [Tuesday] now. Doesn't matter because he won't be allowed to practice until Monday anyways

Fantasy Impact: 

Good news for owners who already drafted Wallace, who really didn't have a choice but to eventually show up. We rank him 18th right now, but he can only go up once he gets into camp and gets back into playing shape. His ADP is still the 5th round even though he's near guys like Jeremy Maclin and Stevie Johnson in our rankings who are 6th and 7th round guys. With this news, you may have reach a bit earlier than the 5th if you're targeting him in upcoming drafts.

The Steelers expect that Mike Wallace will arrive back in Pittsburgh this weekend and sign his one-year contract after they return from their third preseason game in Buffalo, multiple sources told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Fantasy Impact: 

If true, this s great news for Wallace and Ben Roethlisberger owners alike. He will only have a couple of weeks to learn a new offense, but OC Todd Haley has reportedly simplified things for the wide receiver position.

On Day 23 of WR Mike Wallace’s holdout, there’s growing speculation among the Steelers that it will end soon.

“There’s a little buzz around the team that he’ll be coming back pretty soon,” fellow WR Emmanuel Sanders said. “I don’t know the exact date, but it’s looking pretty good.”

No one is expecting Wallace to show up this week as the Steelers wind down training camp. But players and coaches alike hope that Wallace may show up as early as next week when the Steelers start practicing at team headquarters in Pittsburgh.

Fantasy Impact: 

This has been the buzz for a while, so hopefully it's true and Wallace does report. It certainly would be great news for Ben Roethlisberger.

He always could change his mind, but Pittsburgh WR Mike Wallace is expected to report back to Steelers before the regular season begins.

Fantasy Impact: 

Fantasy owners have to take a leap of faith when drafting Wallace because he could change his mind and hold out like Vincent Jackson did in 2010. He has not practiced with the team this off-season and has missed the installation of a new offense. He should be able to get up to speed quickly, but one wonders if he's in football shape.
