PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Arizona Cardinals
If you thought Najee Harris was going to fade into oblivion with the emergence of Jaylen Warren, last week will give you pause. Harris rushed for 99 yards, his highest total of the season and he scored a touchdown for the third time in four games. It seems him and Warren will each get enough touches in this offense.

It's a great matchup for Week 13 as the Steelers play the Cardinals who are dead last in aFPA to running backs. Harris definitely ran hard last week and the Steelers offense eclipsed 400 yards for the first time since 2020 as they changed offensive coordinators.

Start Harris as a low-end RB2 or Flex for Week 13. We like the matchup plus what we saw last week from him.

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cincinnati Bengals
No doubt that Najee Harris' fantasy stock is trending downward, but he still has value as the Steelers have finally committed to the run. Harris still had 12 carries for 35 yards and could stay in the 10-touch range. The problem all year has been production for him.

Bengals are up next and Harris had mixed results rushing against them last season with a 23-yard game and a 90-yard game. Cincy has been average against the run this season.

Keep Harris in your lineup but only as a low-end RB3 or Flex for Week 12. We will see how the new offensive coordinator for Pittsburgh uses him, but we expect him to still be part of the game plan.

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Cleveland Browns
Najee Harris has put up some good fantasy numbers in recent weeks. He rushed for 82 yards and added 14 receiving yards last Sunday. He also scored his third touchdown in the last four games. That's all good news for his managers. The bad news is Jaylen Warren was named the starter against Cleveland this week.

But don't go dropping Harris anytime soon. He and Warren were both very involved in the offense and that could be a trend moving forward. It won't be easy this week as the Steelers face the Browns who are ranked fourth in aFPA to running backs.

It's a tough matchup against Cleveland and Harris had only 33 rushing yards in the first meeting. Start him as a high-end RB3 or Flex this Sunday.

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Green Bay Packers
Najee Harris had one of his better games of the season with 18 touches for 76 yards and a touchdown. He is still getting the majority of the snaps at running back, but he is not a three-down guy this season.

Harris faces Green Bay who is ranked 22nd in aFPA to running backs. If the Steelers keep dedicated to the running game, Harris has some value and can help managers as an RB2.

Start him as a low-end RB2 for Week 10. He would be higher if Jaylen Warren wasn't getting 40 of the snaps.

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans
Najee Harris had seven carries for 13 yards last Sunday. It was the first time since Week 1 he didn't have double-figure carries. He did manage five receptions for 42 yards which salvaged the day from being a total disaster. Still hard to tell if Harris is the problem or it's just the stinky Steelers offense.

Harris will face the Titans who are ranked sixth in aFPA to running backs. Hopefully, the Steelers will get back to running the football with Harris, but who knows at this point? His fantasy stock has dropped.

Start Harris as an RB3 or Flex for Week 9. At least when he gets carries, there is a chance to earn some fantasy points, but who knows with the Steelers offense?

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Steelers have committed to running the football so Najee Harris is getting carries. His results have been mixed, but he did finally score a touchdown last Sunday. His yards per carry have been a problem and that has opened the door for Jaylen Warren to get more carries.

Harris will face Jacksonville who is ranked sixth in aFPA to running backs. We expect Pittsburgh to continue to get Harris 12-15 carries, but he isn't really involved in the passing game so he is a better play in standard leagues.

Start Harris as a high-end RB3 or Flex for Week 8. With the the unfavorable matchup, managers will have to count on the heavy volume to get him enough fantasy numbers to warrant the start.

PIT RB Najee Harris - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Los Angeles Rams
Najee Harris has gotten a minimum of 15 touches in each of the last three games which tells us the Steelers haven't given up on him. His numbers haven't been great and there are whispers that backup Jaylen Warren should get more time.

Harris faces the Rams who are ranked 2nd in aFPA to running backs. So, it won't get any easier this week coming off the bye against Aaron Donald and company.

We still expect Harris to get enough touches to be a factor. Start him as a high-end RB3 or Flex for Week 7.
