NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 18, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Wild Card Round at Green Bay
Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had another excellent season. He finished third in the NFL in both receptions and receiving yards, and was fifth with 10 touchdown receptions. He’s one of the most exciting players in the league, and while he finished the year with only 44 yards on five receptions against Washington last week, he’s still a WR1 every week.

This week should be a good one for OBJ. The Packers rank in the bottom five in pass defense and allowed the second most passing yards this season. Expect the Giants to air it out in what could be a high-scoring game, and for OBJ to have a fantastic outing because of it. He should be active in all leagues.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 17, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Washington

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had 20 targets last week against the Eagles, catching 11 passes for 150 yards. OBJ continues to be one of the best players at his position and with the Giants stating that they don’t plan to rest any of their starters, he should be an elite option once again.

Washington ranks 28th in the league in passing yards allowed this season and OBJ had seven catches for 121 yards against them back in Week 3. As long as nothing changes regarding the Giants resting players, OBJ should be in your lineup.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 16, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Philadelphia

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had a good game against the Lions last week, catching six of the eight balls thrown his way for 64 yards and a touchdown. OBJ has had an excellent season. He’s currently fourth in the league in receiving yards, and tied for third with 10 receiving touchdowns.

This week, OBJ will go up against an Eagles pass defense that ranks13th in passing yards allowed, but has given up 23 touchdown passes, tied for 11th most. Additionally, the Eagles are tied for 26th in the league with 7.7 yards allowed per pass attempt. With OBJ always a threat for big plays and a touchdown machine throughout his career, he should be in for another stellar day this week. He’s an elite fantasy option every week, and he shouldn’t leave your lineup.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 15, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Detroit

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had only four catches on Sunday night against the Cowboys, but he finished with 94 yards and a touchdown and was targeted a team-high nine times in the game. OBJ is currently fourth in the NFL in receiving yards and tied for fourth with nine receiving touchdowns. He remains an elite fantasy option and the top target in the Giants’ offense.

This week, he’ll face a Detroit team that has been winning games this year, but still ranks in the bottom half of the league in pass defense. They have allowed 23 touchdown passes to opposing offenses this season and rank 20th with 253 passing yards allowed per game. OBJ is a must-start every week, and in a nice matchup he should put up WR1 numbers again.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 14, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Dallas

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) didn’t score a touchdown last week against the Steelers, but he caught 10 balls for 100 yards and was targeted an incredible 16 times on the day. He remains an elite fantasy option with big-play potential every time he touches the ball, and is by far the best weapon the Giants have on offense.

This week, he’ll face a Dallas defense that is much better against the run than against the pass, which should mean good things for OBJ. Expect him to be targeted a ton, and since Dallas gives up the fourth most passing yards per game to opposing teams, he has a good chance at eclipsing the century mark again this week. He should be active as a WR1 in all league formats every week.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 13, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Pittsburgh

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had a nice game against the Browns last week with six receptions for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Giants have been throwing more touchdown passes over the past few weeks and OBJ has benefitted from it. After only three touchdowns to start the first seven weeks of the season, he has five touchdowns over his past four games.

This week, he’ll face a Pittsburgh defense that has given up only 13 passing touchdowns this season but ranks 23rd in the league in passing yards allowed. Regardless of the matchup, OBJ is an elite option as a WR1 each and every week and should be active in all leagues.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 12, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cleveland

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) didn’t do much with his five receptions last week against a surprisingly good Chicago defense. He gained only 46 yards and failed to find the end zone. OBJ has run a bit hot-and-cold this season, but he has six touchdowns in the past six games and continues to be the primary target in New York.

This week, OBJ should rebound against a Cleveland defense that ranks dead last in touchdown passes allowed. Expect him to be heavily targeted again and to wind up with more production. He’s an elite fantasy option this week and should be active in all league formats as a WR1.
