NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Odell Beckham vs. Philadelphia

Odell Beckham had another great game last week against the Rams, putting up 148 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions as the Giants threw all over the St. Louis defense. Beckham now has 31 catches, six touchdowns, and 421 yards over the past three weeks alone, and has catapulted himself to 13th in the NFL in receiving yards, despite missing the first four games of the season!

This week, Beckham faces a Philly pass defense that has allowed 29 touchdown passes on the season and over 250 yards per game through the air. This bodes well for the stellar rookie, who should be active as a WR1 in all leagues for the final week of the season. Enjoy watching him this last game of the year!

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Odell Beckham vs. St. Louis

Odell Beckham was lights out last week against Washington. He was a one-man army, catching 12 of the 15 passes thrown his way for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Beckham now has nine touchdowns and nearly 1,000 yards receiving in his rookie year, despite missing the first four games with an injury.

This week, Beckham has a tough matchup against a Rams pass defense that ranks third in the league in touchdowns allowed and tenth in the league in passing yards allowed per game. Still, Beckham is a must start as he has demonstrated his status as the Giants’ primary option in the passing game. He should stay in everyone’s lineup for the remainder of the season and should be a prime keeper in all leagues.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 – Odell Beckham vs. Washington

Odell Beckham has just been a machine this season. He had another great game last week against Tennessee, catching 11 passes for 130 yards and his sixth touchdown of the season. He now has at least 90 yards in each of the past six games, and has been targeted at least 10 times in all but one of those outings.

This week, Beckham faces a Washington pass defense that hasn’t given up a ton of yards this season but has allowed 28 touchdown passes to opposing offense. That’s more than every team except the Jets and the Bears. Beckham has become a must start every week, and with a nice matchup ahead of him, he’s a top five fantasy option in all leagues.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 – Odell Beckham vs. Tennessee

Odell Beckham didn’t have an amazing game against the Jaguars last week, but he did manage to catch seven of the eight passes thrown his way, and he added a rushing attempt on his way to a total of 94 yards from scrimmage. Leading the team in targets is a good sign for the rookie, who has become a must start in all league formats.

This week, he’ll face a Tennessee Titans pass defense that has been average all year, but was just blown up by the Texans on Sunday. Good things should be in store for the rookie out of LSU, and if you’re one of the fantasy owners that was lucky enough to grab him off waivers early on, he should remain in your lineup as a borderline WR1.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Odell Beckham vs. Jacksonville

Odell Beckham blew up last week and had one of the best catches you’ll ever see, a one handed touchdown grab with a defender all over him. Beckham wound up with 10 catches, 146 yards, and two touchdowns and has officially entered the rookie of the year discussion on offense.

This week, Beckham faces a Jaguars defense that can get after the quarterback, but has allowed 258 yards per game through the air and 19 passing touchdowns on the season. As long as Beckham continues this type of production, he’s a must start and we have him as a borderline WR1 heading into this week.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Odell Beckham vs. Dallas

Odell Beckham had six catches for 93 yards against the 49ers last week and he was targeted 13 times. The rookie continues to impress each week and he’s clearly become a favorite target of quarterback Eli Manning already.

This week, Beckham faces a Dallas pass defense that has been very middle of the road this year in passing yards allowed, but has only given up 14 touchdown passes this season. They have been surprisingly effective, despite their struggles a year ago, and will likely force some Giant turnovers. Still, Beckham should be targeted often and has shown the ability to run short and long routes, making him a solid fantasy option in all leagues. We have him as a good WR2 option and he should be active for as long as he stays this productive.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Odell Beckham vs. San Francisco

Odell Beckham has immediately clicked with Eli Manning in a way that used to be rare for rookie wide receivers. Beckham had another impressive game against the Seahawks last week. Even though the Giants lost, Beckham caught seven of the nine passes thrown his way for 108 yards. He even drew praise from opposing cornerback Richard Sherman, one of the best in the game.

This week, Beckham should do well against the 49ers. Despite giving up only 215 yards passing per game this season, San Francisco lacks depth in their secondary and the Giants have been relying on Beckham like they used to rely on Victor Cruz. Operating in different spots on the field to create mismatches, Beckham has become a reliable WR2 early in his career, and we even have him as a borderline WR1 in PPR formats.
