NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Tennessee Titans

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) was hurt last week and his status against the Titans is unclear. Regardless of matchup, OBJ should be active in all fantasy lineups whenever he’s healthy, but owners should have a backup plan in case he’s on the inactive list again this week.

Update:

OBJ has been ruled out for this week. Make sure he's out of your lineup and Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram both get a small bump.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Washington Redskins

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) only had three catches for 35 yards last week against the Bears, but he caught a touchdown and also threw a 49-yard touchdown pass – his second of the season. OBJ is quietly having a productive year on a bad team, as he’s fifth in the league in targets and 10th in receiving yards. While not elite numbers, he’s been productive enough to start every week as a WR1 option.

This week, OBJ will face the familiar Josh Norman. He caught eight balls for 136 yards against Washington just five games ago, and behind 10.3 targets per game, he should be able to overcome a tough matchup. He should be active in all league formats.

Update:

With OBJ out this week, be sure to get him out of your lineup. Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram both get a bump with additional targets available.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Chicago Bears

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had a modest 85 yards on five receptions last week against the Eagles, but he was targeted nine times. OBJ has scored at least one touchdown in four of his past seven games and he continues to get consistent targets. He’s also failed to score at least double-digits in PPR formats only once this season, making him a steady and consistent option for fantasy owners.

This week, OBJ will face a Bears defense that has actually been below average against the wide receiver position this year, despite ranking fourth in the league in points allowed per game. OBJ should continue to be heavily targeted, giving him a high floor. He should be active in all league formats as a WR1, regardless of matchup.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Philadelphia Eagles

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers last week, a nice game but surprisingly low total considering the matchup. OBJ has scored at least one touchdown in four of his last six games, a good sign after being held scoreless through the first four matchups of the season.

This week, he’ll face an Eagles secondary that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers this season. The Eagles just gave up 92 yards and a touchdown to Michael Thomas last week, despite focusing coverage on him. Even if OBJ gets similar treatment, he may find similar success against a struggling secondary.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) only caught four of the 11 balls thrown his way last week against the 49ers, but he scored two touchdowns and gained 73 yards. OBJ had only scored two touchdowns prior to Monday night’s game, and it was good to see the star receiver find the end zone again.

This week, OBJ should be in store for a huge game against the Buccaneers. Only the Saints allow more fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, and the Giants will look to build on their win Monday night. OBJ’s target share makes him a must-start every week, and fantasy owners can be optimistic he’ll find the end zone against Tampa Bay.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at San Francisco 49ers

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) has only found the end zone twice this season, but he’s had over 100 yards in five games and is averaging 11.4 targets per game. OBJ caught eight balls for 136 yards against Washington two weeks ago before the bye, and his target share and consistent production makes him an elite week-to-week starter in all fantasy leagues.

This week, look for the Giants to try and get OBJ back in the end zone against the 49ers. Only the Raiders, Buccaneers and Patriots have allowed more passing touchdowns this season than San Francisco. OBJ will continue to be heavily targeted, giving him a high floor in a nice matchup. He should be active in all leagues as a top option.

NYG WR Odell Beckham - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Washington Redskins

Odell Beckham Jr. (OBJ) had a great game against the Falcons last week, catching eight passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. After being held scoreless his first four games, it was his second touchdown in his last three, and his fourth 100-plus-yard receiving day of the season. While he’s been held out of the end zone for much of the year, his constant workload makes him primed for elite fantasy production moving forward.

This week might not be his best matchup. He’s had run-ins with cornerback Josh Norman before – including a suspension when Norman was still a Panther – although the Redskins have given up eight touchdowns to opposing wide receivers this year. Despite facing difficult coverage, OBJ’s target-share and ability to make big plays make him a must-start each week, and we have him as a fringe WR1 this week in all leagues.
