TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Atlanta Falcons

O.J. Howard has suddenly emerged as a receiving threat, and all it took was Chris Godwin and Mike Evans getting injured. Howard finished 3-46 last week, which made him the team's second-leading receiver. About 50% of his receiving yards this season have come in his last four games. He's only scored once this year, though. He should do enough to get him low-end TE1 numbers against Atlanta in Week 17.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Houston Texans

O.J. Howard has become relevant once again with a solid stat line last week of 4-46. That's now three straight good games in a row as Howard has been relied upon more due to the injuries of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. He gets a favorable matchup against the Texans this week, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to tight ends. Howard still carries some risk, but he's a low-end TE1 option this week.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Detroit Lions

O.J. Howard finished with a solid 4-73 last week after going 5-61 the week before. He's starting to trend upwards, but it's still hard to trust him based on his overall season. In the two games before this stretch, he caught one total pass off of three targets. He gets a good matchup this week, and could see increased usage with Mike Evans out, but he's still not a strong option at tight end.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts

O.J. Howard had a surprisingly productive day last week, finishing 5-61 on six targets. While it's tempting to buy into the Howard hype, remember he had 10 total yards in the last two games before this. He's finished with 10 or fewer yards in four of his 10 starts this season. He's not a smart option in Week 14 against the Colts.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars

O.J. Howard finished 1-10 on two targets last week as Cameron Brate finished with a goose egg. Neither tight end has been a reliable option in fantasy, and both can be ignored for the most part. Especially this week in a tough matchup against the Jaguars, who have allowed the fourth-fewest receptions (38) and yards (440) to tight ends this season.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Atlanta Falcons

O.J. Howard saw one target last week and he botched it in a weird failed catch that resulted in an interception. This led to Howard being benched by Bruce Arians for the rest of the game. He's probably best left on waivers rather than your starting lineup at this point.

TB TE O.J. Howard - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New Orleans Saints

O.J. Howard came to life last week finishing 4-47-1 on seven targets. It was his only touchdown of the season, but it came against a defense that's been notably bad against tight ends this year. He gets a tougher test against the Saints this week, a team he went 1-10 against earlier in the year. Howard is a touchdown-or-bust candidate, and the Saints have only allowed two touchdowns to tight ends this season.
