DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Broncos fell behind in the second quarter last Sunday at the Jets, which limited the ground attack. Phillip Lindsay finished with a team-high 12 carries for 61 yards and caught three passes for 20 yards. During the past two contests, the rookie is averaging 80 scrimmage yards and has two TDs on the season. The Rams are No. 18 versus the run, making Lindsay a RB2 play at home.

Week 5 at New York Jets

In the loss to the Chiefs on Monday night, Phillip Lindsay and fellow rookie Royce Freeman again split carries. Both scored a TD, with Lindsay rushing a team-high 12 times for 69 yards. He is the speed runner, while Freeman has been more of the bruising back. Expect the two to continue to share the touches at the Jets this week. New York is allowing 108 yards per game on the ground.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Before being ejected in the second quarter for throwing punches in last week’s game at Baltimore, Phillip Lindsay carried the ball four times for 20 yards. While the Broncos were able to run for 120 yards in the loss, 35 of those came on an end-around by Emmanuel Sanders. Versus the Chiefs on Monday night, Lindsay will be going against the worst overall defense, allowing over 470 yards per game. Despite the short outing last Sunday, he makes for a decent RB2 start this week.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Baltimore Ravens

Phillip Lindsay followed up his solid performance in Week 1 with his first 100-yard rushing game last Sunday versus the Raiders. On 14 carries, he finished with 107 yards, out-touching fellow rookie RB Royce Freeman 15 to eight. While Freeman was the starter again, Lindsay continues to be a spark for the Denver offense, which has resulted in receiving more of the touches. In the first two weeks, the Ravens defense has allowed a total of 191 yards on the ground, making Lindsay an RB2 play on the road.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Oakland Raiders

What a regular season debut the undrafted rookie had last week versus the Seahawks. Phillip Lindsay carried the ball 15 times for 71 yards and caught two passes for 31 yards, including a 29-yard TD. While fellow rookie Royce Freeman received some carries on the final drive as the Broncos were burning clock to match Lindsay’s 15 rushing attempts, it was Lindsay who received much of the playing time while the game was in doubt. His size (5-foot-8 and 190 pounds) may limit him from being a 20-25 carry RB, but he’ll definitely see his touches. Against a Raiders defense that allowed 140 rushing yards versus the Rams last Monday, Lindsay makes for a decent RB2 play this week.
