TB RB Rachaad White - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. New Orleans Saints

Rachaad White took over lead back duties with Leonard Fournette inactive, playing 90% of the offensive snaps. White played well, rushing for 64 yards. He shined out of the backfield seeing a season-high nine targets, catching all nine passes for 45 yards. White wasn't very involved as a receiver before that game (2.0 rpg), so we'll see if he'll keep that up now that Fournette is expected back in the lineup. White will get a tough matchup vs. the Saints in Week 13 (12th aFPA), and Fournette's likely return means a split of touches. White should be viewed as a low-end RB2 or a strong RB3/flex option this week.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cleveland Browns

The Bucs leaned heavily on Rachaad White in Week 10, giving him a season-high 22 carries as he ran for 105 yards. It was a dramatic shift for the Bucs considering White had 38 carries through the first nine games. White also played a season-high 64% of the offensive snaps, although he surprisingly had 0 targets out of the backfield. We'll see if the Bucs keep this run-heavy approach against the Browns in Week 12. It's likely they do considering the Browns have given up the second-most average fantasy points to opposing running backs. Given the matchup and White's usage ahead of the Bucs' bye, the rookie should be viewed as a solid RB2 play this week.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Seattle Seahawks in Germany

Rachaad White saw some decent playing time (35%) last week as he ran the ball eight times for 27 yards, caught three passes (three targets) for seven yards and had a kick return for 25 yards. White had 11 touches compared to Fournette's 15 as the splits between these two backs are much closer than they were at the start of the year. White is seeing the ball enough to make him a viable option as an RB3/flex play, especially in PPR formats as White has three receptions in four of his last five games. White draws a decent matchup vs. the Seahawks (22nd aFPA) in Week 10.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Rachaad White ran the ball four times for 19 yards last week, and finished with three receptions for 24 yards on three targets. The Bucs really started getting White involved in the offense starting in Week 4 and since then he's averaged 7.4 touches per game for 39.2 yards. He's also acted as the team's kick returner, providing a small boost in leagues where that matters. This week, however, he'll draw a tough matchup against the Rams who have given up the 2nd-fewest average fantasy points to running backs. The Rams are top 10 in fewest rush yards, rush TDs, receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns allowed to running backs this season, and are even top five in most of those categories. White has some appeal as a flex play this week, but the tough matchup is concerning.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Rachaad White played a season-high 43% of the offensive snaps last week, finishing with seven total touches. He ran six times for 24 yards while catching one of his two targets for eight yards. He also returned two kickoffs for 46 yards. White has slowly become more involved in the Bucs' offense, averaging 7.5 touches over the past four games. But is that enough to make him someone you'd want to play in fantasy? Not likely. He's not a PPR specialist, and he's only scored once this season. He's not much more than a desperation flex play in Week 8.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Carolina Panthers

Last week Rachaad White ran four times for 12 yards, caught three of four targets for 11 yards and ran back two kickoffs for 54 yards. After not playing much through the first three games, White has found a solid role in Tampa Bay's last three outings. In his last three games, White has seen 13 targets with 12 carries on the ground. It's not quite enough to make him someone you want in your lineups, but it if anything happened to Fournette, White would be a sure-fire RB1 play. As for now, though, he's not much more than a desperation flex play.

TB RB Rachaad White - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Rachaad White is starting to see some more playing time as he's played on 38% and 39% of the offensive snaps over the last two games. That's a big increase considering he averaged just 16% of the snaps through the first three games. White's seen 16 touches in that span as well as he's being utilized a little more. Still, it's not quite enough to make him a playable option in fantasy. He's not much more than a desperation flex play in Week 6.
