Think Randy Moss needs more motivation for “Monday Night Football” in his first game since Wednesday’s trade to Minnesota?

Darrelle Revis, who in January labeled Moss a “slouch,” had more where that came from.

“He came out full force, early in the game,” the Jets cornerback said of their Week 2 meeting. “In the second half, you could tell he was kind of like putting his foot on the brake. But everybody knows that’s Randy: Sometimes he comes out and plays 100 percent, sometimes he doesn’t.”

Revis assured reporters that if he is 100 percent, that means he will be active Monday night and matched up on Moss. But coach Rex Ryan said it was “too early” to decide on anything yet.

“We’re just now game-planning,” Ryan said.

“Will he always be on the left? I’m not sure. We got toasted by that one kid (Anquan) Boldin, so I don’t know. If he’s ready to match up, we’ll match up. We’ll see how he feels.”

Ryan referred to the Week 1 plan: keep Revis on the left side of the field, to limit his running after his lengthy contract holdout, instead of tracking Boldin. Of course, Revis developed a soft-tissue injury anyway, and Boldin caught seven passes for 110 yards.

This week, there are two realities to consider: 1. The Vikings are a non-conference opponent. 2. Antonio Cromartie did an excellent job on Moss in the second half against the Patriots, after Revis left with the injury.

The Jets defense shut out New England in the second half of that game — including Moss, who was targeted four times for zero catches after halftime. On one deep ball, when Cromartie was matched up one-on-one with Moss with no safety help, he picked off Tom Brady.
