NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 – Rashad Jennings vs. Jacksonville

Rashad Jennings got a full workload against the Cowboys last week, catching eight of 10 balls thrown his way and carrying the rock 19 times. He struggled running the ball, averaging only 2.7 yards per carry, but he still wound up with 120 total yards from scrimmage.

Expect Jennings to get another full workload this week against a Jaguars defense that has allowed over 130 yards per game on the ground this season. He should be a fringe RB1 in all league formats and fantasy owners should be excited about this matchup now that Jennings is seemingly healthy again.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 – Rashad Jennings vs. Dallas

Rashad Jennings came back from injury this past week against the 49ers, but didn’t really get it going. He caught four passes and had 18 carries, but wound up with only 67 total yards from scrimmage as the Giants struggled against the San Francisco defense. The good news for fantasy owners is that he looked healthy, and backup Andre Williams only had two carries and a reception, meaning the Giants look to be bringing Jennings back to a full workload right away.

Jennings faces a bit of an easier task this week against the Cowboys, who allow more than 20 rushing yards more per game than the stingy 49ers defense. Dallas has also allowed nine rushing touchdowns on the season, placing them in the bottom half of the league. The Giants will look to run the ball against the Cowboys and rebound from such a poor offensive showing, and Jennings should get back to RB2 numbers as a result. He should be active in most all leagues.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 – Rashad Jennings vs. San Francisco

Rashad Jennings is set to return from injury this week, and should take on a full workload against the 49ers. San Francisco has been excellent against the run this season, only allowing 91.2 yards per game on the ground and only five rushing touchdowns this season.

Jennings is a workhorse, and while he’ll lose a few touches to rookie Andre Williams, who has been starting in his stead, he’s still an excellent fantasy option for fantasy owners. Jennings has been productive when he gets the rock, and he should be fed this week. We have him as a solid RB2.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 – Rashad Jennings vs. Atlanta

Rashad Jennings has been very good this season, but only had 13 carries for 55 yards in a blowout win over Washington last week. The Giants got way up early and didn’t need to rely on their veteran back, so they turned to backup rookie Andre Williams in the second half.

This week, Jennings faces Atlanta’s third worst rush defense, and with a potent Falcons offense, it’s unlikely that the Giants will find themselves in such a lopsided victory this week. Jennings should get lots of work and should find plenty of room against the Falcons depleted linebacker corps, making him a top fantasy option in all leagues. We have him as a top ten start and he should be in your lineup as a RB1.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 – Rashad Jennings vs. Washington

Rashad Jennings had a huge game against the Texans in Week 3, putting up 176 yards and a touchdown and averaging 5.2 yards per carry as the Giants dominated a stout Texans defensive line and came away with their first win of the season.

Washington has been stout against the run so far this season, so Jennings faces a tough matchup. The Washington defense essentially shut out LeSean McCoy last week. Still, Jennings is the league’s third leading rusher through three games, and he’s worth at least a RB2 start in all leagues.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 – Rashad Jennings vs. Houston

Rashad Jennings looked solid enough for the Giants against the Cardinals last week, finishing with 109 total yards from scrimmage, but he didn’t find the end zone and he had a horrible late fumble just when New York looked like they might have a shot at winning the game. Things got worse quickly, and the Giants are now 0-2.

Jennings however has looked promising. He carried the ball 18 times and caught four passes, showing the he’ll remain a focal point in the Giants offense, which is encouraging for fantasy owners. He gets a tough test against the Texans defense this week, but the Giants should continue feeding him the ball, making him at least a low end RB2 or a high end flex option for fantasy owners.

NYG RB Rashad Jennings - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 – Rashad Jennings vs. Arizona

Rashad Jennings had a nice first showing. While he finished with only 46 yards on the ground against the Lions on Monday night, he had a late touchdown run and he added 50 yards on four receptions, showing his versatility. Additionally, he had 16 of the Giants 22 rushing attempts, staving off competition from rookie fourth round pick Andre Williams for workload.

This week, Jennings faces a tougher opponent in the Arizona Cardinals, who held the Chargers rushing attack to just over 50 yards last week, 10 of which came on a scramble from quarterback Philip Rivers. Despite a bad matchup, Jennings should continue to be a workhorse in the rushing game and catch some passes to augment his rushing performance, and he looks like a solid RB2 this week, and moving forward.
