Scouting report

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Philadelphia

Tonyan had an excellent game last week against the Chicago Bears, as he caught all five of his targets for 67 yards and one touchdown. Tonyan has now scored in consecutive games and was a huge beneficiary of a Green Bay offense that saw Aaron Rodgers spread the football versus typically just locking in on Davante Adams. Proven to be one of the few trusted receivers in this offense, keep Tonyan as a low-end TE1 in his Week 13 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Chicago

Tonyan had a solid game last week as he caught all five of his targets for 44 yards and one touchdown. Tonyan’s score was his first since Week 4 and this was only his second TE1-type game in the last six weeks. In any other position, Tonyan would most likely be forgotten about, but given the state of the TE field this season, he should be viewed as a TE2 this week

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Indianapolis

Robert Tonyan saw four targets last week against Jacksonville which he turned into three receptions for 33 yards. Simply put, Davante Adams has put a cap on the success of any other receiver in this offense. There is room for the occasional blowup game for any member of the offense (see MVS), but it’s clear that there isn’t much opportunity for Tonyan to keep up his early season production. Keep Tonyan as a TE2 in this one.

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Jacksonville

Tonyan had season-lows all-around last week against San Francisco as he caught his lone target for five yards. Tonyan has been a very viable TE1 earlier in the year, however with the return of Davante Adams, his target share has drastically declined. With Adams, Aaron Jones and even Jamaal Williams seeing targets, Tonyan is looking like a touchdown-dependent TE2 in this one.

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Francisco

Tonyan got back on track last week against Minnesota as he saw seven targets for 79 yards on five receptions. Outside of Davante Adams, it seems Tonyan is the only receiver worth trusting in this offense. Facing off against San Francisco and the 12th ranked defense in aFPA to TEs this season, Tonyan should see enough work to keep him on the TE1 radar.

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs Minnesota

Tonyan had yet another disappointing game last week as he finished with only two receptions for 32 yards. His drop-off in production should not come as a huge surprise, as his lingering ankle injury and the return of Davante Adams was going to put a damper on his production. With Tonyan being declared healthy following this week’s practice, he is still going to have some tough sledding ahead of him as Minnesota is ranked 7th in aFPA to TEs to season. Tonyan still has low-end TE1 potential in this one.

GB TE Robert Tonyan - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

strong>Week 7 at Houston

Tonyan finally came back to earth this past week after three straight games with a receiving touchdown, including a three-touchdown performance before the bye week. Tonyan caught three of his four targets for 25 yards against Tampa Bay but also did suffer a leg injury in the first half that saw him limited for the remainder of the game. He’s questionable to play this week but if he indeed does suit up, he’s a prime TE1 candidate as he’s proven so far to be one of Aaron Rodgers’ preferred targets.
