SEA RB Robert Turbin - 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
When you have Marshawn Lynch on your team, it's hard to get noticed as a running back. The Seahawks like Robert Turbin as the backup, so he has the confidence of the team if something happens to Lynch.

Fantasy Downside
Turbin has never carried the ball more than 80 times in a season and still doesn't have a rushing touchdown as he enters his fourth season. You need the ball to be productive and nobody in Seattle really carries the ball enough to be productive outside of Lynch.

Bottom Line
There isn't much value for Turbin unless something happens to Lynch. So if you have a big roster and you draft Lynch, Turbin would make a good handcuff. Otherwise, he just won't get enough touches to be relevant in standard fantasy leaguesuntil we see Lynch's decline.

SEA RB Robert Turbin - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: Turbin vs Chargers
Although some were expecting Robert Turbin to get more carries this year as the Seahawks rested Marshawn Lynch a bit, that does not appear to be the case, at least in Week 1. Turbin had only six carries and that could be the norm in 2014 like it has been since Lynch arrived in Seattle. Turbin has zero fantasy value for Week 2.

SEA RB Robert Turbin - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1: Turbin vs Packers
A lot of people are predicting more touches for Marshawn Lynch's backups. Even if it does happen, who will that be? Robert Turbin or Christine Michael? It could be a combination of both which is not good for either player. Turbin has a slight edge right now but shouldn't be anywhere near your lineup. Even a roster spot is stretching it considering Lynch's durability.
