Scouting report

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Washington
Sam Darnold had one of his more efficient games last week throwing for 230 yards and a touchdown. He also scored a rushing touchdown to help his fantasy numbers. It was also the first week he didn't turn the ball over since Week 1 which is one reason the Jets probably earned a win.

Darnold will play the Redskins on Sunday. Washington is 19th in aFPA to quarterbacks. We don't expect a big enough day for Darnold to be considered for your starting lineup Week 11 so keep him on the bench as a low-end QB2.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs New York Giants
Lots of questions with Sam Darnold. He seems to be serviceable at times, but not the savior Jets fans have been waiting for. He threw for 260 yards last week but his team lost to winless Miami. He only threw one touchdown pass and added his 9th interception of the season. He only has six touchdown passes in 2019.

Darnold has a great matchup against the crosstown rival Giants. The G-Men rank only 23rd in aFPA to quarterbacks. But there is little confidence in the Jets offense and that starts with Darnold. Keep him on the bench as a low-end QB2 for Week 10.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Miami
Sam Darnold hasn't looked too good since he returned from mono. He has thrown seven interceptions over the past two games and has looked bad doing it. Darnold is no danger of losing his job because he is the future.

What could heal Darnold is the Miami Dolphins. The Fins are 30th in aFPA to quarterbacks so even though we don't expect the Jets to be the best offense in the NFL this weekend, we do expect a better performance from Darnold

Don't start Darnold as he only ranks a QB2 but he should be good enough to help the Jets to bounce back from this two-game debacle.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Jacksonville
You all saw it. Can't get any worse than what you saw Monday night. But don't let that define who Sam Darnold is. He is still a young quarterback with a bright future in the NFL.

Darnold will get a chance to redeem himself against the Jaguars who are 18th in aFPA to quarterbacks. They traded cornerback Jaylen Ramsey so that will help.

Darnold hasn't been ranked high all season because he just isn't there yet. He will have some good games for the rest of the season and some bad ones along the way. For Week 8, he ranks as a low-end QB2 and should remain on your bench.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs New England
Sam Darnold returned to the starting lineup and helped the Jets upset the Cowboys. He completed almost 71% of his passes with 338 yards and two touchdowns in his return.

Things will be tougher as the Jets welcome the world champs to Met Life. The Patriots are ranked 1st in aFPA to quarterbacks. Expect Darnold to struggle and keep him away from your starting lineup.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Dallas
Sam Darnold returns from injury but we expect a conservative gameplan for the second year QB. He has no fantasy value this week for New York.

NYJ QB Sam Darnold - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Philadelphia
Sam Darnold has been ruled out against the Eagles. Luke Falk will get the start again.
