Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans takes the field this morning for a bonus practice.

Fantasy Impact:

Laine reported Evans said he could have pushed to try and play in Week 10 against the 49ers but opted to take the extra time. The Bucs had a bye in Week 11 and Evans said that Week 12 after the bye has always been his target for a return. Evans will be a welcomed addition to the offense as the team sits at 4-6, trailing the first place Falcons who are 6-5. The return of Evans will push the rest of the WRs down the depth chart, likely leaving McMillan and Shepard as the rest of the top three.

Todd Bowles said Mike Evans is the only player ruled out — Greg Gaines and Jalen McMillan are the biggest question marks for Sunday vs. 49ers.

Fantasy Impact:

This wide receiver room is on the tipping point of being one of the worst in the league, so hopefully we see McMillan cleared in time. Outside of him, Cotton remains the only pass-catcher we can play with any certainty.

The Buccaneers won’t put receiver Mike Evans on injured reserve immediately, hoping he can return after the off week for the Nov. 24 game against the Giants, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Evans is expected to miss the next three games, Stroud adds.

Fantasy Impact:

The Bucs play the Falcons, Chiefs and 49ers before their off week. As the story added, Evans aggravated his hamstring injury on a dropped pass in the end zone in the first half Monday night. With Godwin expected to be out for the year with a dislocated ankle, the Bucs WR group has got a whole lot smaller, and it now leaves Shepard, McMillan and Palmer as the team's top three. While any of the three can be picked up off waivers with the potential to produce fantasy points, it's three pretty tough matchups on the horizon for the Bucs.
