Scouting report

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Buccaneers

Another strong rushing day for the Saints quarterback. Taysom Hill had 73 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He has 174 rushing yards over the last two games. He may end up being a league-winner yet again. Hill did not play in the first meeting against the Buccaneers. He won't light up the scoreboard through the air, but those legs are fantasy gold. He's a borderline QB1 this week in a huge game Sunday night.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Jets

So Taysom Hill is about what we expected as a real-life quarterback on the field. But hey, this is fantasy football and Hill is going to deliver on the ground, as he did against the Cowboys with 101 rushing yards. So despite throwing four interceptions, he still produced a 20-point fantasy day. And that could very well continue against one of the worst defenses in the NFL in the New York Jets. That is, of course, if he can overcome his Mallet Finger Stay tuned on that front.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cowboys

It turned out Taysom Hill had a partial tear of his plantar fascia which led to him not playing the last two weeks. He feels a lot better now and looks like he is going to get the start Thursday against the Cowboys. And we know how dangerous a healthy Taysom Hill can be on the ground and he has gotten better through the air as well. The Saints offense just flows much better with Hill than it does with Trevor Siemian. Hill is a high-upside QB2. Remember, even though the game is Thursday, it's a full week for the Saints after playing on Thanksgiving.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Falcons

Taysom Hill is back. With Jameis Winston done for the season with a torn ACL, Hill returns to the starting lineup. Trevor Siemian looked good in place of Winston, but Hill easily is the better option at this point for the Saints. We saw what Hill can do as the starter last season and we know he can beat you with both his arm and his legs. Hill is coming off a concussion but he should be good to go against the Falcons, a team he averaged about 233 yards through the air against in two starts last season. He's a top ten option this week as he usually is when he starts, especially when the Saints get near the goal line.

Update: Hill is not fully back, as Trevor Siemian will get the start, but Hill likely will still see some action.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Chiefs

Taysom Hill has started to find his groove in the Saints' offense, posting back-to-back games with two passing touchdowns and has scored two touchdowns in some fashion in all four games since taking over for Drew Brees. He faces a Chiefs' team that is among our five easiest matchups for fantasy quarterbacks and the Chiefs have allowed at least two passing touchdowns in each of their last four games.

Update: Drew Brees is starting in Week 15.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Eagles

Taysom Hill can actually throw touchdown passes! He threw two last week against the Falcons and added 83 rushing yards. Hill is very well going to be one of those classic unsung heroes that could help carry you to a fantasy title. That run starts against a reeling Eagles team who is in the middle of the road against the pass. But Hill's legs are going to damage the Eagles just as much as his arm.

NO QB Taysom Hill - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Falcons

Hill hasn't been all that deadly in the passing game (especially in that "outstanding" game against the Broncos). But he is doing damage in the rushing department with two rushing touchdowns in each of his two starts. That, of course, includes Week 11 against the Falcons. It's that rushing bonus that makes him a top-ten option this week.
