Scouting report

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Williams vs Giants
Terrance Williams fantasy value has been defined by his ability to get into the end zone. He did not last week against Seattle and his two catches for 70 yards was okay but not a top 20 receiver's numbers as he has been most of the season.

Williams has a very touch matchup against the Giants, who rank 7th in aFPA to wide receivers. This pushes Williams down the rankings a little. He comes in as a low-end WR3 or flex.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Williams vs. Seahawks
Terrance Williams scored a touchdown for the fourth time in five games. He only had two catches, but they amounted to 71 yards. Williams has been a integral part of the Cowboys offense. He is a nice complement to Dez Bryant. Due to limited targets, the numbers will be somewhat hit or miss, but the potential is there for a nice game every week.

For Week 6, the Seahawks defense lowers the value of all the Cowboys, Williams included. He is borderline WR3, but most likely should remain out of your lineup.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Williams vs. Texans
Terrance Williams is really taking advantage of the attention being paid to Dez Bryant. He scores his 3rd and 4th touchdowns of the season last week and caught a team-high seven balls.

Eventually, people will start paying more attention to him, so be cautious with his role on your team.

Against the Texans, Williams rates a low-end WR3 or flex for Week 5.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Williams vs Saints
Terrance Williams had a rough outing again with only three targets and two catches. The good news was he was able to salvage his fantasy week with his second touchdown of the season.

He will face a New Orleans defense that has been pretty good at holding down receivers so far this season. Start Williams as WR3 or flex for Week 4 and hope he can get in the end zone again.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Williams vs Rams
With Dez Bryant getting healthy, Terrance Williams numbers take a step back. Williams will be a solid complement to Bryant, but he is not high on the list of offensive weapons for the Cowboys. His value will be if he can get into the end zone which he did in Week 1 but not Week 2.

Williams will provide you some depth for Week 3 against the Rams, but he is not a good option to start. Keep him on the bench in all league formats.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: Williams vs Titans
Actually, Terrance Williams had better overall numbers than Dez Bryant for Week 1 including a touchdown reception. Williams is a solid No.2 in the Dallas receiving corp so he will be part of the game plan. Just don't expect him to outscore Bryant on a weekly basis.

Williams does have a bad back, but he did practice this week so he should be good for Sunday.

Touch matchup for the Cowboys as Tennessee's secondary is very good. That factor brings down Williams fantasy value. He should probably be avoided this week.

DAL WR Terrance Williams - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1: Williams vs 49ers
Terrance Williams was a popular reach for many team owners in their 2014 drafts. They see what QB Tony Romo has done and want a piece of that pie. And they might be right.

Williams is expected to play on Sunday despite missing practice on Thursday. He does carry some minimal value into Week 1 which is slightly dampened by the injury. Still, he will be a nice WR3 for Week 1 if he plays.
