The Dallas Cowboys' season will be decided next Sunday, New Year's Day, in a winner-take-all battle for the NFC East title at the New York Giants.

The Cowboys will play it with injured quarterback Tony Romo and without any momentum after a 20-7 loss Saturday to the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that turned out to be as meaningless as a preseason tuneup.

Romo suffered a bruised right hand in the first quarter and did not return as the Cowboys decided to play it safe to gear up for next week's showdown against the Giants.

"I'll be fine," Romo said. "I think I just took a hit to the helmet. We're going to be all right, though. I'll be good to go next week."

Fantasy Impact:

Although the Giants played well against the Jets Saturday, Romo burned them earlier this season and will be a decent fantasy option next Sunday provided he's able to play.

The Tony Romo-to-Laurent Robinson connection continues to pay dividends for the Cowboys.

Romo has completed a touchdown pass to Robinson inside the red zone in six of the Cowboys' last seven games.

Four times the touchdown has come on third down.

"He finds a way to get in the quarterback's vision and create a throw that the quarterback wants to make," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said of Robinson. "He's done that throughout the season and he's been a big addition for us."

Robinson scored the Cowboys' lone touchdown in their forgettable 34-7 loss Oct. 30 at Philadelphia on a 70-yard pass from Romo in the fourth quarter, but it's what Robinson has done near the goal line that's meant the most to Dallas.

Fantasy Impact:

Robinson is continuing to score TDs despite the return of Miles Austin. In fact, all three receivers are still nice plays in your lineup. There is a risk Robinson gets that clunker of a game considering he's technically a WR3 on the team, but we haven't seen any signs. The Cowboys play host to the Eagles on Christmas Eve.

Cowboys beat writer Calvin Watkins: "Dez Bryant saw some double-coverage. But the issue we have with Bryant not getting the ball on a consistent basis is the Cowboys' inability to put him in motion more often. Make defenses try to defend Bryant one-on-one by putting him on the move. The Cowboys say Bryant knows the offense and if that's the case give him more opportunities to get free. He finished with one catch for 50-yards, the touchdown, but that was off a broken play. You can't rely on Bryant to keep making plays off busted coverages and with Tony Romo rolling in the pocket when under duress. Bryant needs to make plays within the structure of the offense so the Cowboys can utilize his talents more often."
