KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Denver Broncos

Travis Kelce hit 100 yards for the first time this season as he posted his highest numbers (14 catches on 16 targets for 100 yards). In two games since DeAndre Hopkins joined, Kelce has 24 catches for 190 yards and a touchdown. Things seem to be opening up for Kelce heading into a decent matchup against the Broncos.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Travis Kelce had his best day of the season last week against the Raiders. 10 catches, 90 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Even when DeAndre Hopkins gets fully acclimated to the offense, Kelce is still Patrick Mahomes' buddy. Kelce will continue being a top option, especially this week against the Buccaneers, who rank 30th (H/T ESPN) in yards allowed to opposing tight ends.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Las Vegas Raiders

Travis Kelce was held to just 17 yards on four catches against the 49ers, putting the brakes on his two-week stretch before the bye. He gets the Raiders this week who actually have one of the better statistical defenses entering Week 8 and have been very solid, top 10 in general, against opposing tight ends. Kelce does remain one of the top targets on the Chiefs offense and one of the top fantasy tight end options regardless.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco 49ers

After three quiet games to start the season, Travis Kelce has posted lines for 7-89 and 9-70 in his last two games. Kelce looks like he is back to being the top target for Patrick Mahomes following the injuries to Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown. Kelce saw 19 targets between Weeks 4 and 5. He had 93 yards on nine catches in the Super Bowl against the 49ers.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New Orleans Saints

Travis Kelce had nine targets, seven receptions and 89 yards last week against the Chargers, all season-highs. Patrick Mahomes is going to need his buddy again now that Rashee Rice may be done for the season. A favorable matchup awaits Kelce this week as the Saints are among the defenses allowing the most receiving yards to opposing tight ends through four weeks. With the expected increased attention from Mahomes, Kelce is going to have enough volume to remain a high-end tight end option.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Los Angeles Chargers

Wherefore art thou, Travis Kelce? He has just 69 yards through three games. But that's also a sign of the Chiefs' offense thus far. He's second in targets (12) and receptions (8), a far distance from the leader Rashee Rice (29 targets, 24 receptions). That said, given the strange state of the tight end position in fantasy, Kelce is still a top-five option against the Chargers, who will be without safety Derwin James because of a suspension.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Atlanta Falcons

Just one catch for five yards in Week 2 for Travis Kelce. He also has just seven targets through two games. That said, with Isiah Pacheco on injured reserve, Kelce may be more involved again over the next few weeks, starting Sunday against the Falcons, who have allowed 11 receptions through two games to tight ends. That should be a positive for Kelce, right?
