KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Denver Broncos

For the fifth time in seven games this season, Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving last week. He caught all five of his targets for 95 yards. He now has 50+ yards in every game since Week 2, scoring three touchdowns in that span.

Kelce will face a Broncos defense he played well against earlier in the year (7-78-1). Kelce and the Chiefs are on a roll, and there's no apparent reason why they'd slow down now. Kelce can be viewed as a strong TE1 play.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cincinatti Bengals

Travis Kelce continued his strong season last week, finishing with 61 yards. He now has at least five receptions and 60 yards in five straight games, while scoring three touchdowns in that span. He's been the third-highest scoring TE in fantasy so far, so clearly he's been a good option for owners.

He gets a favorable matchup against the Bengals this week, who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing TEs. Cincy got abused by the Steelers' TEs just one week ago, giving up 129 yards to the position. It's the second time this season TEs have gone over 100 yards vs. the Bengals. Kelce can be viewed as a must-start TE1 play.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at New England Patriots

Travis Kelce continues to be a valuable asset in fantasy as he led the Chiefs in receiving for the fourth straight game. He also put up his third 100-yard game of the season, and only Zach Ertz has more yards than Kelce at the TE position.

Expect another big game from Kelce this week against the Patriots. New England just allowed a huge game to Eric Ebron a week ago and have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to the position this year. Kelce is a strong TE1 play vs. New England.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Travis Kelce put together another big game last week finishing 7-78-1 on 12 targets. He's now had double-digit targets in three straight games, averaging over 100 yards during that stretch. He's been one of the very few reliable tight ends in 2018.

He gets a very tough matchup against the Jaguars this week, but that shouldn't affect how you play him. Kelce is still a strong TE1 choice considering how shallow the position has become this year.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Denver Broncos

Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in receiving (8-114) for the second straight game. He leads Kansas City in targets (26) and receptions (16) this season, despite having a one-catch game in Week 1. He's clearly one of the few tight ends of value left in the league.

We expect his success to continue this week against the Broncos. He did miss one game vs. Denver last season, but in his other game, he put up a ridiculous 7-133-1 stat line. It's hard to imagine you'd have many better options at tight end than Kelce. He's a must-start TE1 play against Denver.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in targets (10), receptions (7), yards (109) and touchdowns (2) last week. It was a dominating effort and something fantasy owners really needed to see after his poor one-catch effort in Week 1.

He'll face the 49ers in Week 3, which shouldn't be a problem. San Francisco has allowed a touchdown to a TE in consecutive weeks and Kelce is always a threat to have a big game. He should be viewed as a clear-cut TE1 choice.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Travis Kelce is one of the best tight ends in football, but he certainly didn't look like it in Week 1. After seeing six targets (second-most on the team), he finished with just one catch for six yards. It's not too much of a surprise considering Kelce struggled against the Chargers last season, but it certainly was not the start fantasy owners wanted.

Expect Kelce to bounce back in Week 2 vs. the Steelers. While it's not a great matchup, it would take a lot for us to not like Kelce as a TE1 option for the rest of the season. He always has the potential for a big game, which is rare from the position in 2018.
