KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Once again, Travis Kelce had a ridiculous game, finishing 10-106 in Week 9 on a team-high 17 targets. It was Kelce's 32nd game with 100+ receiving yards, which ties him with Rob Gronkowski for the most by a tight end in NFL history. It was also his third-such game of this season alone, and he's had two other games this season with 90+ receiving yards. Kelce gets an oddly tough matchup against the Jaguars this week. Jacksonville as a whole hasn't been a great defense, but the team has been tough on tight ends, allowing the 6th-fewest average fantasy points to the position. The Jaguars have allowed the 4th-fewest total receptions to tight ends, and just one touchdown to the position all season. Still, Kelce is matchup proof and should be viewed as a must-start option.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans

Travis Kelce finished just shy of another 100-yard game in Week 7 as he finished 6-98 on eight targets. In a game where Patrick Mahomes had three touchdowns, it's a little surprising Kelce didn't score, but we're sure fantasy owners are fine with what they got. Kelce has been dominant this season with 50 receiving yards or more in every game but one, and the one game he didn't, he ended up scoring four touchdowns. He'll continue to be a must-start option at tight end in Week 9 as he draws a favorable matchup vs. the Titans.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco 49ers

Travis Kelce led the Chiefs in targets with 10 last week, turning in another great performance with eight receptions for 108 yards. He also ran the ball for four yards on a Wildcat-type package where he was the QB. There's not much else to say about Kelce who is averaging an absurd stat line of 6.8-75.8-1.2. He gets a tough matchup this week against the 49ers, but Kelce has proven he's matchup proof. He's a must-start option at TE in Week 7.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Buffalo Bills

Travis Kelce had an odd stat line last week as he finished 7-25-4 on eight targets. His 25 receiving yards set a season low, but you won't see fantasy managers complaining after a four-touchdown game. Kelce has now scored a touchdown in all but one game this year as he's become a favorite for Patrick Mahomes in the red zone. In fact, of the Chiefs' 15 receiving touchdowns this year, only two have come from wide receivers. This week Kelce gets a tough matchup against the Bills. Buffalo is allowing an average of 33.8 yards to tight ends this year with no touchdowns given up to the position. But Kelce isn't most tight ends. He was great against Buffalo in last year's playoffs, finishing 8-96-1. Kelce should be viewed as a must-start TE1 in Week 6.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Travis Kelce dominated last week as he led the team in targets (10), finishing 9-92-1. Kelce has now finished with at least 50 receiving yards every week (averaging 80.5) and has scored a touchdown in three of four games. There's not much else to say about Kelce when he's producing at this high of a level. He becomes especially more valuable when you consider a lot of other tight ends are struggling this year (only 11 are averaging over 10 PPG in full PPR). Kelce should continue to produce at a high level as he gets a good matchup vs. the Raiders this week. He should be viewed as a must-start option.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Travis Kelce was tied for the team lead in targets (8) last week and finished with a solid 4-58-1 game. Kelce's now scored in two of three games, and has finished with at least 50 yards in every game this year. There are only two tight ends in half-PPR averaging at least 10 points per game, and Kelce is one of them. He gets an OK matchup this week against the Bucs, but that doesn't really matter. Kelce should be considered a matchup proof must-start TE1 every week.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Indianapolis Colts

Travis Kelce is the only reliable receiving threat in this post-Tyreek Hill Chiefs offense. Kelce led the Chiefs in targets in Week 1 and Week 2, although he wasn't as productive last week, finishing 5-51 on seven targets. While it wasn't a dominating game from Kelce, it was still a solid outing. This week he faces a favorable Colts defense. He should be viewed as a must-start TE1 in Week 3.
