Scouting report

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

T.Y. Hilton - Week 13 vs. Pittsburgh
T.Y. Hilton exploded for 95 yards and two touchdowns on six receptions last week. It's one of his best games this season.

He'll look to continue his success against a favorable Pittsburgh matchup. The Steelers have allowed over 300 passing yards in three straight games, which means good things for the wideouts in those offenses.

Hilton should be viewed as a WR2 with upside this week.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Tampa Bay
T.Y. Hilton was next to non-existent last week as he finished with just two receptions for 21 yards. His only real good game this season came against the league's worst pass defense (the Saints). He gets a decent matchup this week against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is middle-of-the-road when it comes to defending receivers. Someone like Hilton has the chance of burning them over the top. Hilton was viewed as a WR1 before the season, but this week he should be seen as a WR3. He just hasn't been the same this season.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Atlanta
T.Y. Hilton is having a decent season so far. He's 19th in receiving yards per game and has caught three touchdowns. He's on pace to finish a slightly below last season's numbers, which were the best of his career.

This week, he'll face a Falcons defense that has been tough on wideouts. Atlanta has allowed just three receiving touchdowns to receivers all season, including just one in its last five games. Hilton will also be playing with backup Matt Hasselbeck this week, which could affect his numbers. He'll be a low-end WR2 play this week.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Denver
T.Y. Hilton is day-to-day and is in danger of missing Sunday's game against Denver. Even if he does play, he'll get a brutal matchup against the league's top pass defense. Plus, he'll get a struggling Andrew Luck throwing him the ball. A hobbled Hilton against a tough defense makes him nothing more than a low WR2 or WR3, assuming he plays.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

T.Y. Hilton - Week 8 vs. Carolina

T.Y. Hilton had an insane game last week, as he somehow had 150 yards on just four receptions. He was also able to score twice in what was easily his best game of the season.

Hilton's extreme high will likely be followed by an extreme low, however. He faces a tough Panthers defense, specifically cornerback Josh Norman. Norman is usually in charge of shutting down a team's top receiver and he's done a great job so far. Hilton, who is usually a WR1, should be viewed as a low-end WR2 this week.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

T.Y. Hilton - Week 7 vs. New Orleans
T.Y. Hilton finally caught a touchdown in Week 6 as he also finished with 74 yards on six receptions. This has been his best output of the season and it just so happens to fall in line with Andrew Luck having his best game of the season.

With Luck healthy, Hilton's numbers should continue to be strong. He's been pretty solid all year, but his lack of touchdowns before Week 6 was a bit of an issue. He should continue to be a strong option in Week 7 against the Saints.

Hilton should be viewed as a WR1 in all formats.

IND WR T.Y. Hilton - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New England

T.Y. Hilton (groin) has been limited by his injury this season and clearly isn't the same guy we've seen in previous seasons. The talented wideout has yet to hit 100 yards in any game this season and is still without a touchdown.

He hasn't been awful this year, considering the circumstances. Andrew Luck is hurt and missed two games, leaving Matt Hasselbeck to manage the game. There's only so much Hilton can do right now. He'll look to get going this week in a decent matchup against the Patriots, and should be viewed as a strong WR2.
