Tyrod Taylor

Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn was asked Saturday about quarterback Tyrod Taylor and said “he’ll probably be our Day 1 starter”.

Not very surprising Lynn would say this. He raved about Taylor during the Scouting Combine and Justin Herbert won’t be supplanting him anytime soon, especially after not having much of a rookie offseason. Taylor has some intriguing sleeper and weekly value in what could become a more upbeat offense for the Chargers and having weapons such as Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry and Austin Ekeler. The downside, of course, is if Taylor struggles, the pressure will mount to put Herbert in. He’s currently our No. 31-ranked quarterback.
