SF TE Vance McDonald - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Detroit
McDonald returned from sitting out with a concussion and caught just one pass for 10 yards. He seemed to have a good relationship with Blaine Gabbert at first, but that has faded, as has McDonald's fantasy value. But the Lions have given up 11 tight end touchdowns this season. McDonald might be worth a roll of the dice this week in deep - very deep - leagues.

Week 13 at Chicago
McDonald has had back-to-back weeks in which he's been more than solid, posting 71 yards on six catches and a touchdown last week. He's now scored in consecutive weeks and has 10 catches in that period. With Gabbert liking to throw to the tight ends so much, McDonald is suddenly a player who should be on your radar each week. But the Bears have allowed just two TE touchdowns this season. So this might not be the week to go with him.
