NO K Wil Lutz - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Packers

Lutz hasn't seen many field goal opportunities yet, but he is perfect on all his kicks so far (7/7 XP, 3/3 FG). And in what could be a fun game Sunday night against the Packers, Lutz should continue to see the field more this week. He's our No. 4 kicker.

Week 2 vs Raiders

Wil Lutz just continues to be reliable for the Saints and for fantasy owners. A 10-point outing on Sunday, including two field goals and four extra points in New Orleans' win over Tampa Bay. Now he gets to be the first visiting kicker in Las Vegas and no crowd to distract him. He's our No. 4 kicker this week.

Wil the Thrill is back for another run in New Orleans and you have to think he'll be getting plenty of opportunities as these teams should put up plenty of points and move the ball well against each other. Lutz is a top-five option for us this week.

Week 17 at Panthers

Lutz may not have scored double-digits in Week 16, but eight points is still solid, as Lutz booted five extra points in the Saints' win over the Titans. New Orleans is going to score plenty of points in Week 17 so Lutz will be busy again, so if you have your title game this week, you can feel quite comfortable one last time with him in your kicker slot.

Week 16 at Titans

Five straight weeks of double-digit points from Wil Lutz and six straight weeks being perfect. Kickers don't often win fantasy championships, but Lutz is one of the few that will be consistent enough to put you in a good position to claim your league's championship. He's good for another 2-3 field goal attempts and a couple of extra points. There hasn't been any worry with Lutz. No reason to shy away from him now.

The Saints' explosion in Week 14 likely meant a lot of Lutz owners advanced to the semifinals thanks to his leg. He's been perfect in five straight games now. No reason to shy away from him now.

Week 14 vs 49ers

There aren't too many kickers you can feel confident about heading into the fantasy playoffs. Wil Lutz is the one you might be able to feel most confident in. Lutz hasn't missed a kick since Week 8, successfully making 11 attempts over the last four games. And this could be another game where the Saints will be settling for field goals a few times, so Lutz is going to have another game with multiple attempts.
