HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Cleveland Browns

All Will Fuller has done in his two games this season is score 4 TDs. Last Sunday night, as the Texans were trying to come back on the Chiefs, Fuller caught 2 passes, both for scores, for 57 yards. While DeAndre Hopkins is the team’s No. 1 WR, the second-year WR is receiving looks from Deshaun Watson and finding ways to get into the end zone. Cleveland is ranked No. 19 versus the pass, making Fuller again a WR3/flex play.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Welcome back to the field Mr. Will Fuller. After missing the preseason and the first three weeks of the regular season, Fuller came back with a vengeance last week in the blowout of the Titans. He finished with 4 grabs, 35 yards, and 2 TDs. DeAndre Hopkins received 12 looks from Deshaun Watson, but second on the team was Fuller (6 targets). The Chiefs defense has been vulnerable thus far, so the second-year WR can be inserted as a flex option.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Tennessee Titans

After missing all of the preseason and the first three weeks of the regular season due to shoulder surgery, there’s a chance Will Fuller could be back for the Texans on Sunday. Although limited, he participated in practice last week and has been a regular this week. Week 4 is likely too early to include him in your starting lineup, but with Deshaun Watson showing some good signs at quarterback, Fuller is definitely worth picking up from the waivers and stashing him on your bench.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

During his rookie campaign last year, Will Fuller played in 14 games and caught 47 passes, most of which came from Brock Osweiler passes. He got off to a hot start, with 100-yard games in each of his first two pro contests, but posted just one game over 80 yards the rest of the season. In one game versus the Jaguars, Fuller finished with four receptions for 42 yards. Fuller shouldn't be on any redraft fantasy rosters, unless you play in a league with a deep bench, as he's expected to miss at least two months with a broken collarbone.

HOU WR Will Fuller - 2017 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Will Fuller's rookie season was widely considered to be a disappointment, but ESPN.com believes his final line of 91 targets, 47 receptions, 635 yards and two touchdowns was certainly in line with expectations. That said, Fuller's 13.5 yards per reception were a letdown for a deep threat with 4.32 speed who averaged 20.3 YPR at Notre Dame in 2015. The first-round pick's 15.5 average depth of target was fourth highest among players targeted at least 50 times. Fuller was on the field for 92 percent of Houston's pass plays and averaged 6.5 targets per game during the 14 games in which he played.

Fantasy Downside
A broken collarbone suffered on Aug. 2 will keep Fuller out indefinitely.

2017 Bottom Line
Until we get a better idea of the timeline on Fuller's recovery, he'll be a player best avoided.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 19, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Divisional Round at New England
Last Saturday in the Wild Card game against the Raiders, Will Fuller caught four passes for 37 yards. With Brock Osweiler throwing the ball just 25 times, the conservative game plan worked. Fuller caught three passes for 31 yards in the shutout loss by the Patriots in September, and it will likely be another long day for the Houston offense in the rematch. Fuller does not make for a good fantasy start.

HOU WR Will Fuller - Week 18, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Wild Card Round vs. Oakland
After scoring twice and averaging 81 yards per game in his first four NFL games, Will Fuller’s productivity dropped off immensely. He failed to score in the final 10 games of his rookie campaign. Against Oakland in the regular season, Fuller finished with just a 17 yard reception. There is no reason for him to be on your playoff fantasy roster.
