Fantasy Upside
Zach Miller came on strong at the end of 2015 and had a solid start at the beginning of 2016. He played in 10 games and finished third on the team in targets (65), receptions (47), and yards (486). When he’s on the field, Miller has been fairly productive, as he had at least 30 yards in every game he played last season.
Fantasy Downside
Miller doesn’t have a lot of redeeming qualities. He’s not an outstanding pass-catcher, he doesn’t have good speed, and he’s just the best the Bears have at this position. He also struggles to stay on the field, as we saw last season. And finally, he has a new quarterback this season in Mike Glennon, which doesn’t offer much promise.
2017 Bottom Line
There’s not a lot to get excited about when it comes to Miller. He can be productive, catching 8 passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns against Dallas last season, but overall he’s very middle-of-the-road. Unless you have deep rosters, it's best to ignore him on draft day.
