Vikings WR Adam Thielen (COVID-19) is not expected to play per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Justin Jefferson should see all the targets he can handle. Chad Beebe and Olabisi Johnson would likely round out three-WR sets, though Kyle Rudolph is a Sneaky Start with both Thielen and Irv Smith (doubtful) likely out.

The Vikings placed WR Adam Thielen on the COVID list.

Fantasy Impact: 

It's not clear whether or not Thielen tested positive or if he was in close contact with someone who did. Thielen will now have to test negative for the virus throughout the week in order to have a chance at playing in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. It's a potential huge loss for the Vikings. Jefferson would run as the team's WR1 with Beebe and Johnson moving up the depth chart.

Former Washington first-round pick Josh Doctson reached agreement with the Minnesota Vikings, per league source.

Fantasy Impact: 

It's not a bad landing spot for Doctson as the Vikings are lacking depth behind Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. The team is expected to use more two-TE sets though this season so Doctson isn't a lock to put up fantasy numbers.

Vikings beat writer Chris Tomasson tweets, "QB Kirk Cousins: "Chad Beebe is another guy who I just think will make a major difference for our offense this year.''

Fantasy Impact: 

Camp buzz for Chad Beebe has been strong so far and it looks as though he all but has the Vikings slot position wrapped up. Minnesota will look to run a bit more than they did last season and Beebe won't be a high-volume target, but his presence could push Adam Thielen to the outside more. Thielen thrives in the slot, so he'll still spend time there, but if Beebe works out, we could see Thielen's slot snaps scaled back, hurting his overall upside. Beebe's value is good compared to his ADP at the moment, but he'll likely need to be in a deep league to pay dividends.
