JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. New York Jets

While the snaps were pretty even in Week 14 -- Tank Bigsby 31/59, Travis Etienne 28/59 -- Bigsby out-touched Etienne 19-8. Etienne made up the difference with four catches for 50 yards and out-gained Bigsby 70-62. This is sometimes a back and forth battle between the two for the lead role, making things messy from a fantasy perspective. But if Week 14 is an indication, Bigsby will handle more of the work on the ground while Etienne will handle the passing game. Since they will cap each other's ceilings, both are flex options at best against the Jets that are middle of the pack against the run.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Tennessee Titans

Tank Bigsby is taking a bit of a backseat again to Travis Etienne. Bigsby had just eight touches last week to Etienne's 16. He did total 35 yards on those touches, not bad given the limited volume. The offense as a whole may be limited with Mac Jones back at quarterback, and given the Jags are leaning more towards Etienne of late, Bigsby is a low-end flex option this week with six teams on a bye.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Houston Texans

Tank Bigsby is on track to return from an ankle injury that caused him to miss Week 11 against the Lions. The bye week definitely helped him get healthy again. For fantasy purposes, it means the Jags could be back to a timeshare between Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne. Bigsby is also facing a top-ten defense against fantasy running backs in Houston, allowing fewer than 18 fantasy points per game. Neither Jacksonville back is a particularly strong option this week, though Bigsby did have 90 rushing yards in Week 4.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Philadelphia Eagles

Tank Bigsby is currently limited with an ankle injury. Both he and Travis Etienne could be listed as questionable for Sunday against the Eagles. Etienne is just returning to action, so if both can go, look for Bigsby to handle more of the work. This could be a timeshare, but one that favors Bigsby. The Jags are facing the league's 8th-best rush defense in Philadelphia and a unit that may be hitting their stride on the heels of their three-game winning streak. Bigsby is a nice flex option nonetheless.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Green Bay Packers

With Travis Etienne out, Tank Bigsby took full advantage in Week 7, rushing 26 times for 118 yards and scoring two touchdowns. There's a chance Etienne returns in Week 8 -- he is a game-time decision with his hamstring injury -- but even if he does, the Jags can't ignore Bigsby anymore. He has four touchdowns in the last three weeks. At the very least this will be a timeshare between Bigsby and Etienne. Bigsby is at least a flex option this week against the Packers, who allowed 115 yards and two touchdowns to Joe Mixon last week.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. New England Patriots (in London)

The door is open for Tank Bigsby to be the lead back for the Jaguars in Week 7 due to the hamstring injury to Travis Etienne. Bigsby faces a Patriots team that ranks 19th against the run at about 130 rushing yards per game. Even after last week's performance, Bigsby is averaging 7.2 yards per carry. D'Ernest Johnson will also see some work some Bigsby should have more value and is a borderline RB2 this week.

JAX RB Tank Bigsby - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Chicago Bears (in London)

Tank Bigsby has turned the Jacksonville backfield into a timeshare. He saw double the carries as Travis Etienne in Week 5 and the two played about the same number of snaps -- Bigsby actually played one more. Etienne still is slightly ahead of Bigsby thanks to his usage in the passing game, but Bigsby has had plenty of explosive plays and has gotten on the field enough that he is a solid Flex option going forward. He gets a good matchup as the Bears have allowed six rushing touchdowns through five games, tied for 3rd in the league.
