Scouting report

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Miami Dolphins

Kendrick Bourne remains the “top” fantasy wide receiver for the Patriots and is coming off his first touchdown catch of the season. But Miami remains a top defense and there are rumblings that Jalen Ramsey could return this week (though he refuted Adam Schefter’s report). Keep an eye on this.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Buffalo Bills

Somehow, Kendrick Bourne caught 10 passes last week against the Raiders. He took those for 89 yards. He was helped by the absence of JuJu Smith-Schuster, who could return this week. Bourne is a nice receiver that can break a deep shot at any time, but that makes him a deep flex option only. It helps that Buffalo has been a bit shaky against the pass ever since Tre'Davious White went down with an injury.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Las Vegas Raiders

Mac Jones is struggling bad right now which is affecting the entire offense and has made all the receivers pretty much invisible for fantasy purposes. Kendrick Bourne is the highest in our rankings, but that’s not saying much. No Patriots wide receiver is really worth a start at this point.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New Orleans Saints

The Patriots have struggled on offense lately, so none of their receivers are really a strong fantasy option. But right now, we have Kendrick Bourne as the best option, but even at that, he's a very low Flex option. He hasn't reached 50 yards or found the end zone since his 6-64-2 line in Week 1. Bourne is better suited on the bench.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Miami Dolphins

As the Patriots climbed back from a 16-point deficit and kept reaching the red zone, Kendrick Bourne was one of the top beneficiaries, scoring two touchdowns in the Week 1 loss to the Eagles. This week, he faces the Dolphins who just had a bar burner against the Chargers. If Mac Jones can continue to get better, Bourne might continue to be a factor in the Patriots offense and always has deep-play ability as we’ve seen in the past.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Las Vegas Raiders

With Jakobi Meyers and DeVante Parker out, Kendrick Bourne tied a season-high with five targets and caught all five of them for 47 yards, his second-highest total of the season. His value hinges on the statuses of Meyers and Parker. If they're both out, Bourne could be worth a look as a deeper flex. Otherwise, he's extremely risky in the playoffs.

NE WR Kendrick Bourne - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs Jaguars

Kendrick Bourne landed on the COVID list prior to Week 16's game against the Bills, but he was able to test out and play in the game and caught two passes for 33 yards. He has been fairly quiet since the bye. The Jaguars are about average against opposing wide receivers, but the Mac Jones continues to spread the ball makes Bourne a continued boom-or-bust play for the finals. He's a deep flex play, but has shown numerous times he can explode in just one play. Jacksonville could be a team that can happen against.
