The 49ers are signing WR Jaron Brown to a contract.

Fantasy Impact:

Brown will serve as depth to start the season for a 49ers team reeling at the wide receiver position after losing both Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd to injury. It is unlikely he becomes a viable fantasy option behind George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk in the run-heavy scheme utilized by Kyle Shanahan.
